Dim Sum can be eaten for breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea, dinner and supper! One of people choices of favourite food, one can just stop by this quaint shop in Pavillion Shopping complex. The ambience, decor everything about this shop shouts quaint, upscale tea house! Dim sum both fried, steam and deserts are display on the open and like cafetaria/self service style, you pick what you want and pay at the counter. The dim sum despite halal is fresh, sufficient size, seasoned properly and yummy. Verdict: I love the ambience and decor here. And I really love the wide variety of tea leaves!! However, the dim sum will set you back as it is not affordable compared outside (dim sum shop etc). In addition, it might be difficult to get a seat during peak hours and the staff really clean the tables slow. Besides that, the ambience and tea list its a plus point! continue reading

Dim sum for the masses, pork-free & available 10am-10pm at a strategic venue.Trays of savory delicacies, baked or fried, are kept warm and regularly replenished for shoppers seeking speedy takeaways at Pavilion. Very convenient. It should take less than 10 minutes to choose what you want and pay for it at the cashier. Then can munch on it while walking or bring it back home Save space for dessert, particularly these "cotton cakes," as creamy as mousse. Are you ready for this jelly? A wobbly herbal concoction, refreshingly chilled. Mango cream puff & egg tart. Scared of sugar? Rest assured, none of these are very sweet. continue reading

New Shanghai is a pork free restaurant located at Pavilion KL. Please do not misunderstand pork free as halal as sometimes pork free does not really means the foods are halal. This restaurant is serving a wide variety of chinese cuisines which specializes on Shanghainese cuisines.Assorted Vegetable Dim SumThe skin was thick and yet it was still delicious as the vegetables wrapped inside contain a little portion of tasty soup, so this dim sum is still delicious.Abalone Siew Mai.The siew mai skin was thin, inside was prawns and chicken meat. The abalone was chewy and tasty of course.Credits to: EVERYDAY FOOD I LOVE continue reading
