Signature Dishes
Spicy chicken mcdeluxe is one of my favourites in McD. They are always served hot and crunchy with juicy chicken thigh meat and lotsa mayo and vege press together with sometimes soft sesame bun. This time it appears to be a little bit dry. Especially if eat together with fried chicken, it's not a very nice experience eating mouthfuls upon mouthfuls of dry food. However, I'm satisfied with the quality of the chicken every time.

I saw in the newspaper advertisement the other day on McDonald's, and they're having a slightly different version of Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, 'creatively' named as Grand Spicy Chicken McDeluxe. I was intrigued as I love Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, hence convinced wifey to go for supper in McDonald's Citta Mall. The place was jammed pack when we got there at 9pm, so we waited for our turn to order. The line moved pretty fast considering the amount of people. Wifey went to get a spot for us while I ordered. The medium sized meal costs about RM11. This burger is basically the same as a Spicy Chicken McDeluxe except that they add a slice of cheese, a slice of tomato, some chopped onions and a different type of sauce. I though that the combination was quite good, however, I couldn't really taste much difference on the sauce. Tasted the same like the usual Spicy Chicken McDeluxe. Wifey wasn't really a fan, as the onions put her off, so that's good! More for me. The usual fries and soft drink completes the meal. I went home very satisfied.

Flew over to McDonald’s the other day for some quick lunch as I was rushing for time. They were serving the prosperity burger set meal during that time. I hadn’t had prosperity burger for a long time, hence I ordered the set. McDonald’s everywhere probably has a set standard of quality, hence this piece of burger did not disappoint. Succulent beef patty dipped in black pepper brown sauce served with slivers of onions between an oblong sesame bun, it is a great meal. The curly fries was also very nice, crunchy and flavourful, probably due to the batter. The fizzy orange drink was a combination of minute maid with sprite, so the end result was a zesty drink to complement the burger and fries.

It's dessert time and we know just the thing to get, McDonald's ice cream! It's a household favourite and now it comes with a new flavour. They have the new sundae with cornflakes. In fact, they have it in McFlurry too. I chose the chocolate sundae in the end. At first bite, it's a bit too crunchy and all I could taste was just the cornflakes and at that moment I thought I prefer the cornetto sundae. But after a few mouthful, the crunchiness and the sweetness of the chocolate combo grew on me. The cornflake taste neutralize with the sweetness of the chocolate and the strong fragrant of vanilla ice cream. Will definitely coming back for more crunchy goodness!
