My first visit to Little Nynoya at Pavilion today. It is Friday lunch time, manage to get a table easily without waiting. However, the restaurant is almost fully occupied. While waiting for my foods, a glance of the interior of the restaurant. Food pictures displayed on the wall. I had a plate of Butter rice with Beef Rendang RM12.50. In fact, the butter rice was tasted like Flavoured Fried rice with egg. The Beef Rendang was cut in strips instead of chunks. Usually talking about rendang is chunk beef. Is nyonya Rendang suppose to be like that?! I have no idea. Taste wise is acceptable, beef strip was flavourful and tender but not spicy. The beef rendang was cooked together with long beans.A little comment- I would suggest the Beef Rendang should come with white rice instead of butter rice reason being Beef Rendang is flavourful enough to goes well with white rice. And now I feel very thirsty after these conbination of both heavy flavoured duo. My colleague had a plate of Nasi with Otak otak RM12.50. He commented about the Otak otak was very soft like pudding and the colour was in yellow rather than orangy colour. When I asked him about the taste, he just shaked his head. The Seafood Penang Noodle RM12.50. The feedback received was just like a bowl of ordinary prawn noodle- nothing extraordinary. Nasi Lemak RM10.90. The comment was "Okay lah". Seafood Rice RM12.50. The feedback was the taste not as good as last time anymore. The overall feedback I received for the lunch was negative. Even myself had tried it personally. I can say you can try other food in Pavilion since there are so many eateries in the mall itself which offers you at that kind of pricing. Good luck! continue reading
