This is where i proposed to my wife. I did alot of research and review before I choose this place. Here have the most romantic atmosphere with perfect ambient light, one of the reason i choose here is because this restaurant is for fine dining, so my wife have to dress up, to ensure my proposal wont end up with my wife wearing t-shirt and jeans 2nd, this place is very queue, i'm a shy person, so i want to make sure not many ppl seeing it.3rd, the food. We like the food here, we ordered lobster bisque and seared duck and some dessert. If you like my idea, can come here to propose also continue reading

Le Midi opened on 10/10/10, instantly becoming BSC's most romantic restaurant. The cuisine here is Mediterranean, with a tempting tagline that promises everything from "the fresh bounty of Grecian seas to the exotic spices of Morocco." Mussels steamed in champagne butter sauce, served with fries. We had mixed feelings about this; while the mussels were irreproachably fresh, the sodium content could have been lower. But that's a matter of personal preference. Duck confit flambed with Provencal brandy, potato gratin & ratatouille. One of the healthiest-tasting duck confits ever; less salty than versions elsewhere, but sufficiently tender and meaty. Creme brulee with chocolate & espresso. The creme brulee had a fascinatingly mysterious flavor that straddled the line between herbal and floral.Service is efficient and the music played is wonderfully soothing. Ask for a table by the window for a wide-open view that extends from Bangsar to the Petronas towers. continue reading

I was craving for italian food and i recalled bout Le Midi as ive been there before. So one saturday i went there with my friend. We werent too hungry so we just ordered few dishes. We ordered foie gras as starters, then was choosing between the king prawns or foie gras raviolli but we ordered the king prawns instead and a platter of desserts. We told the waiter we ordered king prawns first n hold the raviolli till we see how big are the portions n if we dont have enuf food we will order the raviolli. But the waiter made a mistake n the raviolli came instead.( i took a picture of it too ) So we ask the waiter to come n ask them to change it back to king prawns coz our starters was oredi foie gras.. They said they thought we wanted king prawns instead of the raviolli but we clearly said hold the raviolli n we want the king prawns instead so they took it back n we waited patiently for our king prawns. its just a small misunderstanding but i guess the waiter made a mistake not repeating our order at the end of the order thus the wrong order. Overall the food was ok.Foie gras is a bit too sweet in my opinion.. prefer it to be more savoury.. but it was nice.. The king prawns is ok not bad and the desserts are nice. Nothing to shout about for the price it was fine dining price. Its not a place u would go everyday but rather for a more special occasion. continue reading
