Lam mee ya sounded really like a person’s name, turns out lam mee is also known as the loh mee which is popular in north Malaysia. The noodles comes with very thick broth but yet not too flavourful to the extend it empowers the dish itself. Instead, the flavour was moderately good to be done as thick broth that is at the same time actually gluey and sticky. When at the lighter taste, it is great to compensate it with a little vinegar and despite the acidity of the vinegar which wouldn’t harm if taken once in a while, for it to bring out more flavour from the noodles. Apart from noodles, there are choices of congee which I would love to try them the next time I ever come back to the lam mee ya. Here in the empire outlet, the seats are neat and clean while at the same time, I also appreciate the menu with pictures on the wall as their wall papers. The menu of noodles, all their beverage and many more is a joy to look at while waiting for your order to arrive. It was an interesting experience and that was also when I decided to return to try their congee. The char siew chicken lam udon sells at RM 12.80 and the char siew was actually thick enough to really enjoy the texture. In general, it was pretty palatable and would be a great choice if thinking about noodle when around this area or while shopping in the empire shopping mall. continue reading

As per their restaurant name, It is specialise in Lam Mee. The restaurant has a nice environment setting where they use white as their main colour. Once you entered the restaurant, you can see their wallpaper are painter with the menu. One of the wall is showing a photo of original lam mee and enlighten patrons that this is what you get if you order it. I have orderded Chili & Sweet Sauce Cheong Fun. It is very tasty although it is not their signature dish. continue reading

Craving for a bowl of slurpy noodle? And deliciously slimy too? Lammeeya is the place in town that serves a good bowl of ‘lam mee’, hot and well presented too. What I like about Lammeeya’s noodle is the ingredients they uses - fresh and generous. There sure to be some goodies left in the bowl after the noodle runs out. That would be an ideally affordable bowl of noodle that is satisfying to our stomach and to our wallet!Char Siew Chicken Lam Udon ( RM12.80) – udon with char siu slices, fresh lettuce, egg and topped with fried onions.Lam Yee Mee (RM10.80) – yee mee with prawns, chicken, cabbage, bean sprouts and fish cake. continue reading

Steam bread with kaya and butter. Find it funny that day served bread here too! The bread is steamed soft but its not heat enough to melt the butter. Somehow i just feel it taste normal. Nothing special about this.Royal Milk Tea The milk tea here really not bad. Nothing to complain from a Noodle Shop. Smooth and fragrance of tea is strong too. I'm not sure what is the difference between this royal milk tea and their normal milk tea. Visually is the mug that makes the different and both has so much bubbles on top too. There is a difference of 20 cents on price oh. continue reading

today i visit Lammeeya located at LG Floor, Empire Shopping Gallery, SS16/1, Subang Jaya.Their "Lam Mee" cooked by professional and experienced chefs is especially unique and par excellent. I try their Mushroom Lam Mee, i like mushroom so much~they are quite match with the noodle.maybe it is not every person's thing so the chef modified it to a lighter taste which I find it could be compensate with adding in some vinegar.Set meal come together with drinks and meat ball. continue reading
