Whoa.. I super loved this! I super loved cocktails, and prefers them so much more to other types of alcoholic drinks which I find to be either too bitter or have too strong effects.. which is a no-no as I don't really drink. So cocktails are perfect. I simply loved this concoction which is made from fresh Lemongrass and Vodka. The lemongrass leaves the most perfect sensation in my mouth! continue reading

Still a notch above many of the Klang Valley's other Thai & Indochinese restaurants, thanks to a fantastic setting & a food selection that are both one-of-a-kind. Spicy duck salad, an amuse bouche that might succeed as a succulent main course. Khmer salad of thinly sliced cured beef with lime dressing. This luscious Cambodian carpaccio boasts enticingly zesty flavors, brilliant for whetting the appetite. Laotian chicken curry with wild bananas, illustrating the restaurant's keen use of interesting ingredients to transform its recipes into something less ordinary. Andaman tuna with wild ginger sauce. Is this Cambodian? Laotian? Vietnamese? We couldn't tell (though we'd probably rule out Vietnamese). Vietnamese duck egg omelet with eggplant. Maybe there was a psychological effect, but this seemed creamier than a regular chicken egg omelet. Khmer stir-fried pumpkins with prawns. As sumptuous as it sounds continue reading

This beautiful restaurant which is located in a very quiet and strategic place. You would not need to face the heavy traffic jam in the city. It is located away from the city in the Ampang area.I read about the restaurant a lot in the newspapers and magazines but only did I believe it when I seen the place with my own eyes. Starter as our first dish. Presentation was clean and simple. The portion is just nice for 2 persons as each item came in 2 quantity. The starter that we had was a mixed platter: Steamed fish cakes, Grilled cinnamon-chicken mousse sticks, fresh Vietnamese-style spring rolls and Grilled Lemongrass Prawns which was recommended by the waiter. I like all the said items as the taste of each were fresh and to my liking. In particular, brilliant idea on the Grilled Lemongrass Prawns that made this item taste so sweet, same for the Steamed fish cakes. continue reading

Continue from the previous postThis is the main door where you enter to the ''forest'' restaurant.thai elephant decoWe got a friend which is a vegetarian, so we order some pure vege dishes.Spring Rolls @ RM30.00Its stuff with all kinds of vege which i can't differentate hahaha, but it taste great too.Grilled Eggplant w Coconut @ RM26.00This is a dish i never see or tried before. The appearance is not very attractive but the taste is really superb. I don't know why but the gravy is so fantastic and the eggplant is soft and juicy. It make me wants more !Vege w Tofu @ RM28.00Just a simple stir fry green vege. But i love the sauce, mix well with the coconut rice.Caramelized Chicken @ RM30.00Looks like marinated chicken. Tender meat and gravy is my favorite again. Hahaha i can eat a lot of rice just because all the sauce and gravy here suits me !Food wise is nice and it really looks quite a normal dishes. However, honestly the food here is very expensive. We are paying for the environment. Enjoy the ''out of city'' fresh air and its facing the green golf course. A good experience for relaxing. continue reading
