Another signature dish from this restaurant is their steamed chicken. I must say I’m quite impressed with their steamed chicken. I normally order the chicken thigh part to make sure I have the most delicate and tender piece of the chicken. Their steamed chicken is very smooth and juicy. The soy sauce and sesame oil drizzle over the steamed chicken are very delicious and flavorful. In my opinion, I can easily rate 7/10 on a scale. You may order the “kampong chicken” for even better taste and texture, just a higher price to pay. continue reading

restoran kong sai is located at SS15 Subang Jaya. It's a chinese style restaurant with really nice chicken rice. This is the steamed chicken. This is so nice. The chicken is steamed very well. The skin is not really oily but so aromatic with the spices. The chicken is so tender and not dry at all. It's so juicy and rich. The sauce is so unique and really match with the chicken. The portion is so huge and can fit 3-4 person. You can also try out their others dishes as well. But for me,this steamed chicken is the best. continue reading

Restoran Kong Sai is a shop famous for poached chicken. It is a good place for dinner. Choices on the menu is not extensive, but all priced reasonably. The shop is simple, not that big, but is always full with customers. Other than poached chicken, other dishes such as kau yok ( braised pork slices with yam) and pig stomach soup is very nice too. Pig Stomach SoupThe pig stomach soup comes in a sizable portion, with generous amount of pork intestine, pork slices and pork stomach loaded in the claypot. The soup is very hot, spicy and peppery, definitely a bowl of delicious soup that will open up your appetite. The pork slices resides in the soup are tender too, and there is no bad smell for the pork intestine and pork stomach. continue reading

It's quite thick too with the generous of prawns, red chill, onions, spring onions, dry radish. Its simply nice with the crunchy dry radish and crispy outer layer. I think i can finish up the whole plate by myself. Only small and large portion for this.small @ RM6.00Total bill comes to RM70.00 for 5 pax including a pot of chinese tea. continue reading
