Restaurant Kim Sui Charcoal Fried Hokkien Mee (金水炭炒福建面之家) located at Jalan Lazat Satu, Taman Gembira, 58200 Kuala Lumpur. This is a famous stall selling charcoal Fired Hokkien Mee. This is a must try restaurant in OUG. Charcoal fried dishes are rarely seen nowadays. This stall shows the orange flames out from the charcoal stove to prepare the dishes. The Charcoal Fried Hokkien Mee is the highlight of the stall. It is a little wet then usual ones but it is braised just nicely. It is not too oily nor too sticky. The crispy pork lards are just enough to bring out the deliciousness of this dish. You can ask for mee hoon mix mee by your wish.Their Fish Head Mee Hoonis also one of the favourite as the fish head is not fried ,so it is to be served fresh. Other than that, they also sell Cantonese Fried (yin yong), Fried Rice, Singapore Beehun ,Loh Mee,and etc. The prawns and ingredients added are generous and fresh.Besides, other dishes such as vegetables and taufu or snack dishes such as fried chicken wings, fried sotong, Penang Lobak, Lala and many more. They are also famous for their fried fish cake as snack-Crispy skin with packed fish cake brings satisfaction.Mobile – 016-289 1606/016-368 9167 (Mr. Ong/王金水)Business hours – 4pm-1amClosed – Alternate MondaysPrice – Approximate Rm10 per person continue reading
