Nothing much to shout about the Christmas decoration here, just something usual.
It's a tad pricey to dine here, so be prepared. But sometimes we just have to forget about the price and of coz calories!
When it comes to buffet, my golden rule is, always started from the cooked food. It warmed your stomach up and somehow boosted your appetite to eat more!

As for the dessert sections, having over 10 varieties of cakes, herbal soups, cookies, puddings and Marshmallow Chocolate dip each day.Two choices of ice-cream, New Zealand Natural and Haagen-Dazs. They also served cocktail drinks, smoothies, soft drinks, varieties of teas and coffee.Different types of Tong Shui! Really thumbs up for it!
Other than the variety types of fresh foods, I would say that the nice serving from waiters/waitresses was an added point. Would definitely go back again, because you can never try all of the foods if you only came once!

That's the only photos I took there.
I wished I could take more, but look at the food,it's way too tempting for you to feed your phone instead of yourself first .

Of course, we made reservation for the ladies few days before.
I am thankful that we made the reservation or else we would have to wait outside the restaurant for some time.
being in the guest list, awesome!

Let's start with the Japanese cuisine,
As you see in the picture, there are various sushis and the free flow oysters and salmons!!!
How can anyone resist that!
The food is really fresh I have to say.

What shocking me is the crowd, I don't expect the crowd to be this big on a Wednesday night.
There are seriously a lots people, I think it must be a crazy amount of people during the weekends.

Oh ya, they do serve Korean kimchi too!

As for Dimsum, they have dumplings and siew mai. But i am way too full to eat them that I only grab the herbal soup in the picture. Okay. I had 3 bowls of them!
Cause it's too good!

Now recalling what I ate that day, I felt a strong guilt for being glutton.
How much I ate, that was seriously a lots!

The beverages, they do serve cocktails

I chose the ocean cocktail, which taste really good ( contains alcohol)
They do have the Thai Coconut too.

You are allowed to choose your pasta. all you need to do is to take a numbered clip from your table, and just clip on the menu of the food you wanted, and they would serve you shortly

At the price of RM61.70, too much satisfaction I would say.
From the food to the desserts.
I had 3 scoops of Haagen Dazs Ice cream which available in coffee, strawberry, greentea, chocolate and more flavors)
New Zealand Natural Ice cream is available too!

The promotion is valid till mid of December.
So ladies, be quick and do not miss out this good deal!

There is also a whole range of Chinese tea to choose from such as Pu Er, Jasmine, Rose Tea and Wulong Tea.

Next to the tea section is the Milano Coffee Machine which one can make your own espresso, cappuccino, latte etc. The cappuccino is not bad when I tasted it.

One highlight of Jogoya is the expensive ice-cream labels especially Haagen Daz and also New Zealand ice-cream where there are at least 8-10 flavours for each brand. I took tasted the Haagen Daz flavours which cost at least RM 10 per scoop outside : Macadaemia, Coffee, Raspberry, Rum and Raisin (the most popular which ran out 2 more customers took it), Chocolate. I also drizzled the chocolate sauce and also nuts on top. Later, I took the mango sorbet from the New Zealand range but did not take any photo of that because I only took a very small spoon of it.

There is a very wide range of desserts such as cakes, jellies and puddings and also Taiwanese desserts.

So far I tried the Blueberry Cheese Mouse which was better than the one at Four Seasons Hotel in Langkawi. The Green Tea mouse was not bad too, so does the hazelnut mouse. But just ok, not that special, probably because I was so full to taste it properly.

There was also a chocolate fountain for you to dip marshmallows inside it. I did not try this because I have tried this at Jogoya countless times.

The Mochi Counter has a very wide array of mochi. However, I tried a few and found it too hard and not as soft as the original Taiwanese or Japanese version. In terms of filling, it is satisfactory but not overall taste due to the thick pastry, just pretty to the sight like a  pretty girl with less quality content. The mini chocolate and green tea mini mochi was the best of them all.

The Taiwanese Green Tea crispy egg roll was so-so. Unfortunately, after I came out of the washroom, the roll was a little soft, probably due to the wind.

The Red Bean mooncake was a disappointment as there was not enough filling and too much flour.

The Iced Mango Dumpling was just normal. Not something I would go for dessert. Too bland and plain. The outlook is creative though. I expected it to be very icy. It bears resemblance to ki chang (the Chinese Yellow Chang).

There was also a place where one eat Tom Yam Goong or some sort of special soup shabu-shabu which can comprise of lamb, Japanese beef etc seafood but my stomach did not permit this to happen.

The Pu Er and another type of tea pudding was tasty and soft. But bear in mind not to eat it after eating sweet stuff like ice-cream because the taste will be lost for sure.

Mum and her classmate were so thirsty so they had ice-kacang with rum and raisin Haagen Daz ice-cream. I did not taste it but it looks tasty enough. I thought I wanted to save some room for more Haagen Daz or desserts.

I wanted to try the other Herbal Soup and also seafood soup but my heavy stomach told me to stop. After all, soup is something that fills the tummy up very fast. I did try the seafood chowder, a small spoonful of it as the result? Amazing!

I had so much desserts that my mother stopped me from taking more in order not to waste food as I probably am too full to the brim. Perhaps let that be the menu for my next birthday meal?

It is best to come to Jogoya with many friends so we could try many varieties and make the experience of trying food very fun!

Figuring that some people do not like raw Japanese food, I decided to do another review specially for this group.

One thing good about Jogoya is the personal cooking they provide for the Chinese, Dim Sum, Teppanyaki and Western spread where the cooking is done upon order made. We are given pegs which has our table numbers to be placed on the small glass bowls to signify we would that dish.

One can order any seafood or even vegetables to be cooked specially by the chef.

First up is steamed Alaskan Cod Fish which was amazingly succulent. It is cooked and served fresh whenever order is made.

The steamed siakap is just so-so and the portion is too big, much bigger than the cod fish. In the past, there was the conventional steamed cod fish which is normally boneless compared to this one.

The grilled lobster with a slab of greenish sauce on top is so-so. Though another customer said that it wasn't that fresh, to us, it was alright and quite succulent.

The fried tempura and also shishamo (not sure of spelling) was amazing. Very crispy and the prawns fried just nice. Very tasty when dipped with the wasabi mayo or even the special tempura sauce with chopped radish.

The Soft Shell Crab tempura was also wonderful. Very fres crab equals amazing tempura!

The Fried Oyster with Omelette was done the way I liked it. The omelette was watery with a log of eggy feel. The oysters were also very fresh. The outcome, incredible!

The Thai Coconut Drink was so refreshing that one of the aunties took two coconuts and our table finished about 4 coconuts alone!

The only thing to avoid here is the Dim Sum corner. The Shanghai Dumpling was worse that the one at the kopitiam food court as the skin was too hard, thick and rubbery. I am embarassed they dare to call this dim sum.

The Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup of sea cucumber and also a lot of abalone was very clear and refreshing for the soul.

The stir fried or even cheese escargots were a delight to the soul. I even regretted not taking second helpings aside from only one piece of it.

The oyster in cheese, specially cooked by the Western Counter, was also not bad. But at that time my stomach was so bloated to fit any more cheese.

The  Grilled Eel (Unagi) was very thinly cut and so delicious.

The Grilled Saba was so-so but others would consider quite nice. I am not a fan of saba though.

The Baked Dory Fish was overcooked and not tasty at all.

I missed trying the many tong sui such as Chrysanthemum Tong Sui, Papaya and white fungus etc as I thought that is something my mother knows how to make.

Sometimes on and off it is a must to come here. Buffet lunch at RM 88 on a Sunday seems fine, especially fro birthdays and special occasions. This time, I am lucky to get a birthday treat by my mother's classmates who came from Penang.

WARNING: This is going to be quite long review for almost every dish in Jogoya buffet (except some

Since there were five of us, the waitress gave us each a Japanese Plum Wine which we used to make a toast for my birthday with wishes of beauty and everything else good.

SASHIMI, SUSHI, RAW FOOD BUFFET:

The first place to hit is definitely the sashimi and sushi buffet. There is myriad of fresh salmon, all very thick and juicy.

The fresh raw octopus were also a delight. I especially like the small plates of fresh oysters with a special green sauce and raw cabbage to eat together. I loved it so much so I took one plate for each of us.

Luckily I did not take too many of the fresh oysters from the big shells as the one I tasted had some sand inside. Anyway, my mum's classmate, Cindy said that it was nice. I had mine with the Tabasco sauce and lemon.

The crab was very fresh. Thank god mum was there to peel the crab for me.

The abalone salad was also very tasty and all these seafood is the secret to Jogoya's success and popularity till today.

The Capracio Salmon, lightly smoked is amazing and freshness is a quality we like here.

The humongous raw scallop with some light sauce is so amazing. Definitely one that every scallop lover would sing praises of.

The raw lobster with mayo was also fantastic, though a bit to the cheesy side.

The raw seaweed and fake shark's fin are my favourites in every Japanese restaurant. the raw ebi salad with mango pieces was also a great combination.

The egg in a mini jug was something that we did not know how to eat though great for pictures. So I would not be able to judge it for you as I am not really a fan of eggs.

I would say that even eating at the sashimi platter alone is more than enough at Jogoya.

Went to Jogoya for buffet dinner. This place is just nice for me and my wife as her favorite is Japanese sushi, for me i like the seafood. It's worth every penny you spent here as the provides a huge variety of food.As my favorite is seafood, so i grabbed quite number of oyster in my plate. The oysters are fresh, because it's raw, is better to put some lemon juice on the oyster before you consume it.It taste delicous. Other food here also nice

Went to Jogoya for buffet dinner. This place is just nice for me and my wife as her favorite is Japanese sushi, for me i like the seafood.

It's worth every penny you spent here as the provides a huge variety of food.

As my favorite is seafood, so i grabbed quite number of oyster in my plate.

The oysters are fresh, because it's raw, is better to put some lemon juice on the oyster before you consume it.

It taste delicous. Other food here also nice
