We have our lunch here at Impromptu which is located at First floor in Menara Hap Seng. I never try this restaurant before although I have been working nearby this area for almost 5 years! My colleague does mentioned that their home made pasta is worth trying. The price is around RM 13.90 onwards for main course. The menu is more towards local and Western cuisinesPasta choices of spaghetti, linguine, fettuccine, ravioli or gnocchi.Carbonara Seafood Pasta - The carbonara sauce taste good with light creamy texture but the seafood portion is just too little.Grilled chicken carbonara pasta - Few slices of grilled chicken only. The idea of putting in the vegetables of carrots, purple cabbage, and cabbage is not the usual pasta servings that I have seen. It was weird and not attractiveIt was really different from the menu picture illustration and from the other website food review. Seafood Aglio OlioI ordered the grilled chicken ciabatta sandwich. The bread and the chicken meat is dry and totally bland! I was expecting a better quality for that price of RM 13.90. I can count few pieces of small grilled chicken meat inside only. The cheese is not evenly spread on top of the bread and the combination is bad. No salad dressing at all. Regretted to order this sandwich.Unappetizing mess.Mushroom Aglio Olio PastaVerdict :The price is expensive for that quality of food given and the food is not presentable at all!. Impromptu is one of the restaurant under the same brand as Nagomi. Simple decoration inside with cozy environment. Grilled Chicken Pesto is where the chicken meat is well marinated and being grilled to perfectionist. Then, it is being served with home-made basil pesto. The home made herbed pasta is well made with a nice smells of herbs and the basil pesto sauce makes the perfect dish to taste.Taste: 4/5Price: RM15.90 continue reading

It's all in the planning at Impromptu: burgers, pasta & pizzas _ familiar-sounding fare infused with thoughtful twists that make a delicious difference. Hand-made fettuccine with soft-shell crab. OK, this photo proves that even after 30 months of food blogging, we still tend to take terrible pictures. But what looks unappealing above is pretty tasty in reality, thanks to plenty of silky pasta with curry-laced cream & crunchy crab. Beef yakiniku "pizza," served on a teriyaki-base tortilla. Close your eyes, bite into this, and it could be mistaken for a well-marinated beef sandwich, not pizza. Would be a brilliant bar snack _ if only Impromptu had a liquor license. So where did this sake come from? Fortunately, Impromptu is the sister outlet of Nagomi Shabu-Shabu, which is able to offer booze next door. continue reading

Impromptu is a restaurant which is located in Menara Hap Seng. How the names come about. The adjective of the name Impromptu comes with the meaning of premium handmade pasta as well as freshly baked pastries and breads. It is a nice place of having dining with fair place as well as a good and nice environment.Impromptu Lamb-Burger is where the lamb meat patty is served with homemade bun which is toasted with garlic butter spread. The lamb burger is well made and simply juicy. The taste of lamb is not too greasy. With the sweet mango chutney which added with the lamb patty, it makes the meal even more delicious and juicy.Taste: 5/5Price: RM16.90 continue reading
