Assam Laksa was served with fish, egg, onions, pineapple slices and tamarind. The assam laksa was served with meehoon and not the laksa noodle. This assam laksa was not served with the prawn paste, as such the broth was not fragrant and pungent at all. The broth was bland, lack of sourness and spiciness that a typical assam laksa should have. The fish was deboned and flaked and has a “fishy” taste.
