Signature Dishes
I was running errand in KL central one afternoon. I missed the Indian vegetarian food which I used to eat when I was staying around there last year.Gopala restaurant, a vegetarian Indian restaurant without onion and garlic served. Their lunch menus were different types of Thali sets.I chose the Special Rice Thali set but the special rice was sold out. I ordered the basic Thali set (MYR6.50).The Thali set comprised of white rice, sambar, curry, 3 types of vegetable (cabbage with dhal, long bean and fennel), rasam, buttermilk, apam, pickles and a dessert.Actually I like Indian food very much because the using of spices. I was here several times because their curry and sambar impressed me much.The taste and flavor of curry and sambar was well-maintained during this visit. The only let down was the tad salty long bean.
