Attracted by plastic food replicas displayed at the windows of their establishment. Just dropped by for lunch after a long walk in the mall. Ordered their signature seafood soondubu jigae set and house specialty dessert, citron dubu. Piping hot seafood soondubu jigae was served with dubu dubu rice and four side dishes. No joke! Its real piping hot from the kitchen and I dare to say this the only one so far in a shopping mall. Thumbs up for this as I like my food served hot.Slowly enjoyed the broth and voila! Self declared hot and spicy food lover but this for sure above my tolerance level. I don't expect it to be so steaming hot and spicy. Perhaps due to the steaming hot pot? I really have no idea.The dubu dubu rice is brown red rice garnished with roasted sesame seeds. The rice was served cold and tasteless. Best to go with the rich flavoured broth.Citron dubu is citrus bean curd with tangy flavour jelly topping but the bean curd was not smooth in texture. A bit pricey for a small bowl of dessert at RM 7.90.Overall, the lunch set is affordable and quite big portion. Do give it a try but the side dishes a bit let down.

Dubu Dubu is located at LG in Mid Valley Megamall. The restaurant is not overly crowded and it's well air-conditioned.It's suitable for friends and family to hangout here.Peach Tea (RM 4.90) and Citron Tea (RM 4.90) tastes quite normal and original.Seafood Soondubu Jigae (A la carte RM 16.90/Set RM 18.90). The set is well portioned and you don't have to worry if you would not get full. There is lots of prawn and seafood in the soup, come together with the side dishes and Dubu rice. The down side is the soup base is not good enough. It taste like the soup is cooked by boiled water and chili powder, and you can only taste the spiciness of the chili powder but nothing else.Chicken Cheese Soondubu Jigae (A la carte RM 15.90/Set RM 17.90) is similar to the original Soondubu Jigae but added with Cheese into the soup. The cheese has indeed made the soup smoother and more flavorful.Korean Spicy Chicken (A la carte RM 15.90/Set RM 17.90) in which the chicken is marinated with Dubu Dubu special hot sauce. The chicken is not overly spicy, and the part I love the most is the plentiful of onions. The meat texture is as good as well. By the way, the side dishes has lots of improvement can be made.Beef Dol Sot Bibimbap (A la carte RM 16.90/Set RM 17.90) is awesomely colorful and healthy. The dish comes with lots of vegetables and taste good. For dessert, I've ordered Citron Dubu (RM5.90), which is a combination of bean curd, sugar and citrus. Unfortunately the bean curd is not smooth enough and overly sweet.Overall, the price is reasonable and they looked really nice, however the taste is just normal.

the rice cake is famous dish in the korean cuisines and the price is about rm 13.90 big portion and serving of the half boiled egg and very delicious. the gravy is a little spicy but good to try this as in korean food almost all food is spicy and makes you really felt hot. the big serving is really recommend to share among two person and not to forget to order their drinks as well

my friend suggest we should come here for dinner at Dubu Dubu Seoul Food @ Mid Valley Megamall. located at lg floor never know this place exist until my friend bring me here and dining here really good place. fully korean food. and i like the three side dishes which can be refill unlimimted. This is also a Halal Korean restaurant.Bulgogi Chicken Set-RM17.90with eggThe chicken bulgogi tastes flavourful and delicious and served hot in the pot. The onions were cut slightly too big chunks which gave me hard time to chew and swallow. but overall the chicken meat is juicy and i like the rice set too. service is pretty slow probably the crowd during weekends and advise to come early to have a better seats and faster service i guess.

My mother kinda love Korean marinated beef meat, because healthy and taste not that strong. i recommend honey garlic bulgogi beef set to my mother. they using special honey garlic sauce for grilled , that why taste so yummy. This honey garlic bulgogi beef set come 3 side dish and bowl of organic black rice. My mom said a bit disappointed with their beef was over grill, therefore beef taste a bit hard.
