It is quite claasic coffee house for people to have some business discussion. But we just went to have dinner. We have ordered fish and chips and also fish burger. The fish is crispy and tasty. But the portion of the fish is quite small. The plate is covered by more chips than fish. We also tried the iced chocolate. The chocolate is rich and wont be over sweet. The tastes is just nice.

Dome Cafe was introduced to Malaysia back in year 1995 and currently has a total of 18 branches in Malaysia. It serves both western and asian cuisines and hot and cold beverages from fine espresso beans, picked from around the world. They use chestnut and oak wood for their restaurant design, which provide a cozy, elegant ambiance for a great diversity of lifestyles. One of the branch is located at Ground Floor of The Gardens, Mid Valley City. The Latte ordered is so aromatic and smooth, one sip will give you the extra special lift to get back into your day. The Cappuccino, which made from frothed milk and a shot of espresso, topped with a touch of cinnamon, is so well presented until I stared at it for quite a moment before drinking it. The Hot Chocolate, which made from the finest cocoa powder, and the freshest milk stirred to perfection. Aromatic and soothing, a delight for your taste buds. The muffin is served after they heat it in the oven, so it is so delicious to eat it while it is still hot. You can see the chocolate chip already melted and it taste so chocolaty. Overall, although the price is slightly higher, but I think it is worth it due to the food quality and the nice environment.

What I love about Dome is that it positions itself as a classy, fashion cafe. Little wonder, for I heard that the owner's actually Melium Group, a company who officially represents many international luxury brands in Malaysia such as Aigner, etc. With that info at hand, no wonder the prices are sky-high as well! Truth to be told , though the ambience and furniture and settings are classy and relaxing (along with the jazzy background music); I really don't think the food itself is up to par. Not that it's bad. But just passable. Only so-so. Whether it's their sandwiches, spaghettis, fish fillets or chicken steaks nothing stands out. The only dish worth mentioning is the highly-stacked pancakes special; as well as two slightly better local favorites : nasi lemak chicken rendang and assam fish with rice. Enough said.

The best place for a English breakfast. It offers healthy breakfast and the most important meal of the day. I ordered a english breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages and double toasts with butter. The portion is quite big as well, which is a good thing to help us stay full longer. Dome's coffee made from 100% Arabica beans that are selected and roasted to perfection by master roaster.
