Chocolate cravings It was a Saturday night and the kids were craving for dessert. Yes both the big kids and the small ones.We went to The Curve, spent some time at the Kids Zone with free indoor playground before heading to Dip & Dip and E curve. Or to be precise, right entire E curve there is a walkway joining the two The Curbe and the E curve on the second floor directly above Coffea Coffee. It was quite packed on a Saturdsy night but we still manage to grab a table. We were pretty full from dinner so we only ordered one pancake and one crepe. The pancake comes with four pieces with chocolate sauce and some whipping cream. While the crepe was sliced like noodles and the waiter will come and poured the chocolate sauce on top in front of you. Sort of like a mini show I guess. Kids were really happy to watch the drizzling and oozing chocolate sauces!Taste wise, the pancake was pretty bland. You might need to dip in quite a lot of chocolate. Comes with a few strawberries too.Crepe is fine and it comes with a Vanilla ice cream as well. One may find its a bit tad too sweet but well you can't really find unsweetened ones unless it's dark cocoa. So once in a while of sinful indulgence is fine I guess. We ordered two glasses of ice lemon tea too and the bill came up to a whopping RM 70 bucks. We were surprised and taken aback. The price is indeed on the high side. Blue moon kind of splurge I guess. continue reading

It's a nice place for dessert in the area, if you're not feeling for ice cream or yogurt. They serve everything chocolate, you can get crepes, waffles, drinks, fondue etc.It can get a little busy inside, but lots of seating. It looks romantic from the outside, but quite cozy in the inside. The decor is awesome and interesting, cleanliness is good too.I got the brownie crepe - filled with chocolatey baked goodness, and topped off with the sauce of your choice (or all ) - milk, bitter and white. It tasted awesome! The price is quite expensive, but it is worthy as for the delicious taste!Try it now, you're not going to regret continue reading

Since we're gonna eat something sweet, I guess having a cup of tea might help wash away all the sweetness else I might get too sick of the sugar. Not recommended as you can get a better ones nearby the area (eg Coffee Coffea or Coffee Bean) with almost the same price. Super love/like/adore this. Though after a few bites, I can't take the brownies anymore. Love the crepe and the melted chocolate! It was perfect as it is not too sweet but just nice. I always expect very strong and sweet taste when I order chocolate desserts but this proves me wrong. Even though it is very chocolaty, it didn't feel like it was too much for me. Again, the chocolate they used aren't too sweet. Though, I didn't really like it due to my personal preference. continue reading

i went to the e@curve outlet today with a bunch of friends at around 10pm. We asked the manager/owner (i'm not sure) whether they will still able to serve us. the manager said yes so we sat down and ordered. We realised that the waiter that took our order could not really speak english and we had trouble communicating to him. He on the other hand seemed impatient and raised his voice for a few times while snatching the menu from my hand. I also realised that he dressed poorly (as in unhygenically) with stains all over his uniform.as we sat down and little did we realised its already 11pm. we got the bill and divided our bill and sat down and chat a while. at 11:20, your staff in his attempt to chase us away increased the music level until its unbearable for us to continue sitting there. I confronted the staff (he's a middle eastern guy with curly hair) and asked him did he do that on purpose. He said yes. and i asked him why, he said because we are closing. We would definitely appreciate it if the staff would politely ask us to leave, but what he did was rude and unacceptable. I told him that his action was rude and he said its okay. This is a place definitely not interested in serving you properly and just aiming to chase you out. BAD SERVICE! continue reading

If you're someone who doesn't believe that there's such a thing as too much chocolate, I dare you to try the chocolate crepe at Dip N Dip. The chocolate is very thick and moderately sweet. It's pretty much a lava pool of chocolate, inside and outside of a fluffy thin crepe, which is reminiscent of roti canai.Even a single serving of this was so rich that it took two of us to struggle to finish it. This place is definitely only for absolutely hardcore chocolate lovers. Pricing of everything is super steep. Will not return. continue reading
