Went visiting a friend that stays around that area and told them that I was craving for some good butter chicken. It's the food that I often times find myself hungry for but then rarely ever find something to satisfy that craving. So they attempted to try by bringing me to Decanter. No surprise that I ordered myself a plate of Butter Chicken with Rice set. Actually it wasn't bad because the sauce is really creamy but had a hint of spiciness to it from the chilli that they add to it. The chicken
No surprise that I ordered myself a plate of Butter Chicken with Rice set. Actually it wasn't bad because the sauce is really creamy but had a hint of spiciness to it from the chilli that they add to it. The chicken was also nicely crunchy from being deep fried before hand so it goes really well when it's coated with the thick butter sauce.The only downside is there isn't enough of the sauce, even though I told them three times when I placed my order to have more.
My friend ordered the Nasi Lemak that comes with a chicken. Currently cannot remember if it was fried chicken or rendang, but it is one or the other. I tried the rice with the sambal and found this quite good because the rice was very nicely fragrant. Plus the sambal had some really good spice to it but not just spicy in flavour with a hint of sweetness.A pretty chill place to dine at and will probably be back for more of the butter chicken when I find myself around the area with a strong craving for it. The sauce is good enough to have me going back - only wish they'd give more of that than the rice on my plate.
