While Betty's is famous for its pork burgers (rightfully so; even since the days long before pork burgers or even burgers were a "thing"), they proudly offer many other pork dishes that stand its equal. Among them, my favourite being the soft-bone ribs. You know the part of the ribs where the cartilage is? Yeap, that's the one! Soft, juicy, sweet. If you're a fan of cartilage, there's plenty of that to chomp on; but I'm a more "normal" and only eat the meat - of which there is also plenty. While

While the restaurant does feel a little rushy (you get in, you get seated, you get served, you get full, you get the bill, you get out), time seems to move slower when I'm having their soft-bone ribs. It's served with a cup of gravy, but I find myself torn between enjoying the meat in its unadulterated form, or with the super savoury gravy (I usually end up having most of it on its own, and then using the gravy for my fries).

So we've got gravy, and we've got fries - so why not order some FRIES WITH GRAVY and go CRAZY? Boldly dubbed "Dog Food", this is Betty's response to KFC's Cheesy Wedges - except far more enjoyable, and in a far larger serving portion. Don't wait for it to get cold, though, as the cheese tends to clump up. The fries are soft and the cheese is abundant and gooey. The sauce tastes creamy - I can't put my finger on exactly what it is; but I know it's something that goes great with potatoes and perhaps even a chicken chop (which you shouldn't bother ordering at Betty's, because pork is king here).

Special mention for their lemonade! I rarely order drinks anywhere, but at RM2.50, it's great value and tastes really good. To put it into context, it is cheaper and tastier than some drinks at many food courts or coffee shops!
