Yam basket is another personal favourite of mine, as I love the smooth texture of yam basket provided it is well executed. I am glad that KK Wong did the dish well.The yam is steamed beforehand, mashed and mixed with some flour into a ring shape, then deep fried till golden brown. Inside the ring is filled with stir fried chicken, various types of mushrooms and bell peppers. They have a nice wok hei and taste decent.
