Another must-try dish here at Levain is definitely the Lamb Ragu. Although it looked quite small when it arrived but it’s quite filling! Another must-try dish here at Levain is definitely the Lamb Ragu. Although it looked quite small when it arrived but it’s quite filling! The fettucine pasta is home-made hence the sizes are slightly bigger and it taste much firm. I liked the texture where it isn’t too hard but not too soft yet with a firm bite. The lamb tasted like bolognaise but with a richer flavour and texture. It has more spices in the mixture and more intense, probably due to the usage of lamb. However, it does not offer any gamy flavour to it. It has a sweet finishing to the palate as it has caramelised onions in it too. The cheese powder is a great addition to the dish where it adds fragrance to it. It comes with a side salad too but I prefer if they offer the salad with a dressing.
