The first outlet has been running well in Setapak and that is one place I am often reluctant to travel to due to the distance and the very challenging traffic on the road. When the launch of the new outlet in SS 15, I delightfully proceed to explore those cute paws which originated from Taiwan. The seats are neat and the walls are nicely decorated with none other than paw prints, and cartoons, and very delicious looking bear paw.I must admit the Taiwanese often put in a lot of thoughts to make their food really fancy. These cute little paw prints are no different as well. They capture the heart of youngsters almost at a quick instant to a finger snap. Available it three choices being the fish, chicken and the spicy chicken patty in a selection of few options of bun types and sauces types, along with fresh lettuce and tomato slices. The buns are alright, soft and warm even though I went with the healthier choice of bun- the whole wheat bun. I am thinking fish but did not want to match it with the tartar sauce instead; I went with the honey mustard. The fish slice was very well done at a perfect timing Very crispy on the outside and superbly juicy inside. The fish slice is not thin thus making it really plump in texture. The only drawback is probably the overloaded sauce but I would remember to ask for lesser sauce. The overloaded sauce results in the ‘paw’ being slightly mushy when it meets the fresh slice of tomato and lettuce. There is too much moist in it on top of the fresh vegetables. Preparing each order fresh is something worth admiration and I really hope for them to maintain this standard even when business becomes busier later. The Bear Paw itself cost RM 9.90 but the value set meal each range from RM 12.90- RM 14.90 The selection comprises of a Bear Paw, and a choice of their beverage series. Since the Taiwanese adores the Milk Tea, a Milk Tea series is foreseeable. The rest would be the Fresh Tea Series, Fresh Fruit Tea Series, Yakult series, and the Sparkling Soda Series. The Bear Paw don’t serve pork and is currently obtaining their license from Jakim. They would be serving breakfast and rice soon so until then, we would devour these cute little buns first. continue reading
