Guilt-free ice cream anyone?
Our latest MakanVenture food tasting session brought us to Stickhouse at The Gardens Shopping Mall on 8th December to try sugar-free gelato and sorbet on a stick!
Stickhouse is a new innovative healthy gelato concept originated from Italy. It has expanded its business to more than 30 cities in the world. With a strong fan base in Europe and Middle East, Stickhouse is now growing rapidly in Asia with new shops opening in China, Seoul, Thailand, Manila, Jakarta, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Stickhouse gelatos are produced using 100% pure and genuine ingredients without adding any artificial flavouring, colouring or preservative. The healthy gelatos are made of simple ingredients, including fresh fruit, milk, cream and “Stickhouse Bases” imported from Italy. By using the latest technology of production, zero air is added to the gelatos to create a denser and creamier texture than that of ice cream.
At Stickhouse, you can enjoy both gelato and sorbet. Gelato is smooth and creamy, while sorbet is rich in the original flavours of fruits.
A range of flavours is available for both gelatos and sorbets. For gelatos, you can choose from a rich variety of flavors, including chocolate, vanilla, milk, yogurt, soy, hazelnut, green tea, coffee, pistachio and many more.
For sorbets, they offer a wide selection of fruit flavours, including green apple, pineapple, lemon, orange, watermelon, mango, blueberry and kiwi. The fruit sorbets are so natural and genuine that you are literally eating fruit in the form of a stick ice cream!
During the food tasting, our members had the chance of customizing their own gelato and sorbet stick with different dippings and toppings! Three different chocolate dippings are available, including dark, white, or milk chocolate. To add a crispy texture to the ice cream, the chocolate coating can be topped with a choice of hazelnut, almond, or pistachio grains.
What's more, we were allowed to enjoy as many gelato and sorbet stick as we liked! While enjoying the delicious ice cream, the outlet manager showed us a video introducing the background of Stickhouse and the making process of their signature gelato and sorbet.
Before we called it a day, each of us was given an exclusive Stickhouse T-Shirt as souvenir!
