Ever since Alexis opened in bangsar, it has earned a reputation in Klang Valley for attracting queues with its popular cakes and charming ambience. Thanks to some good reviews from food bloggers! Finally the dish that everyone was raving about, Alexis tiramisu with homemade strawberry sauce. That's berry sauce btw, not chili sauce lol. My partner in crime said that the strawberry sauce was not needed. The cake itself was good enough. But to me, that was an extra bonus meh. The signature dessert which is also my utmost favourite could be seen on most tables. Expect both contemporary & classic creations, perfect combination of crunchy, caramelised mixed nuts, soft sponge and alcohol-laced cream. All the ingredients just go well and melt perfectly in the mouth with subtle sweetness! Sometime we just have to forget about the calories girls.Mix Berry Meringue is also another dessert worth lusting after. Thick and creamy meringue that can fuel your tummy! A sweetness that was just nice for my liking Though prices may be a bit steep, it's because quality ingredients are used here. Quality speaks for itself! continue reading

it was around chirstmas day so there are quite crowded when we having our dinner.we sit at second floor and it was a very darken place. i guess this is because of they were trying to make the environment as romantic as possible. LOLwhy am i saying this out because i hate to have my meal in a very dark environment... i cant even see clearly what am i eating... BTW the food are quite ok... not really ok but quite ok you know what i mean? they offering such foods with such pricey tag but it is not balancing. it (including servicing and foods) should be better since i am paying for such a price. however, i can't deny their cakes! especially Pavlova cake! it is my favourite all time!tasting, decotation, appearal.... everything were just fine and well combination! strongly recommen this cake! continue reading

I wondered why I have never been to this branch of Alexis. Probably because I had the preconception that Alexis is usually expensive ever since I tried the one at Gardens where 1 plate of pasta cost at least more than RM 40. But I admit I love the food here. Anyway, since my friend wanted dessert and we were sharing, so I figured it was ok. Anyway, he made the decision for this place in split seconds so I had to agree and I had no other place in mind in Bangsar area which serves delicious desserts and he seemed to know better since he is a Bangsar boy. He ordered his favourite Tiramisu which came with a lot of nuts and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and watery strawberru sauce. But it was a little too creamy for my palate so I just ate a little. I drank the Lavender tea while he drank Camomile. Each pot of tea costs RM 13. But I think the tea is not that great because it was not fragrant enough and by the second refill, the taste ran out. This is worse than the chinese tea at the kopitiam. The ambience won me hands down. The atmosphere is very romantic and dark upstairs with a Monalisa screen in different attire and done creatively. The sofas were very comfy and made for romance. So I guess this more like a place for drinking alcohol instead of tea. But fantastic place for romantic evening for couples.  continue reading

This is one of the high end bakery located at Bangsar somewhere near Bangsar village shopping complex. What so special about this bakery is where their downstair is actually a cafe, is you want to just have a glass of drink they will recommend you to sit upstairs.Besides that downstairs is a none smoking area and upstairs is a smoking area. We actually came here to celebrate one of my friend's birthday so we had order a whole tiramisu cake - which is quite costly It taste like any normal tiramisu cake but to me it is too sweet as they make it with caramel syrup. the cake is still consider okie texture is soft.if i going to rate this i would give 8/10 continue reading

Alexis is the best choice for you to have some desserts. There are variety of desserts and in a big portion. What I have tried:Best tiramisu with strawberry sauce in town. I had this for so many times but still cannot resist it. Kahlua taste so perfect with the cake and its crunchy nuts and maltose on top! The cake is soft with the cheese and chocolate in between is definitely awesome! Highly recommended to you all.It is a pavlova with some strawberries and blueberries on top. Crunchy layers of meringue with some cream, one-by-one, you will feel the texture. It melts inside your mouth! It tastes different, seriously not just a piece of cake.Banana + coffee = Bannofee Very rich in coffee taste and chocolate crunch as its bottom. Nothing else, banana with chocolate and coffee are always the perfect match.A very good place for you to gather and chill with your friends. continue reading
