Located at Kompleks Asia City in Sabah, Imperial Seafood Restaurant is another fantastic place for fresh seafood dinner! Most of their seafood are still freshly ‘swimming’ in aquarium, you get to pick your favorite and just sit back and relax, you food will be served when they carefully execute it with flavors! Priced accordingly, they are quite affordable too! Dining in there wouldn’t be a problem because they are air-conditioned! When in doubt of what to order, their chefs recommend you to try their butter prawns, sweet & spicy crabs, garlics steamed scallops or prawns, salted eggs crabs and more! Hungry? 2. Hung Xing Seafood

Newly opened, Hung Xing is a seafood restaurant in Sabah that does not serve pork and serves Chinese style when it comes to handling your seafood selections! Same thing, they have live seafood that is rear in the aquarium and pick your favourite seafood! Then, allow them to cook and get it ready to serve to your table! They do cater to special functions like birthdays, fullmoon, weddings, company dinner and more! Besides, they are open every morning from 7.30am onwards for breakfast too! Breakfast time they do serve fish noodles that is equally delicious!

3. Deep Sea Seafood Restaurant

Phew! We have come to the third seafood restaurant! Sabah is really a seafood heaven! At Deep Sea Seafood restaurant, they are known for premium seafood that is slightly higher in price, but is guaranteed to satisfy your cravings! When you dine here, you’ll notice that they have something that is quite special here – Sashimi lobster! To enhance its freshness, eat them up with the lemon too! So many to choose from, they have some soup selections too like Fish maw soup. Slightly different style of cooking, do try their signature dishes like poached shellfish and sautéed clams with ginger! Overall, they are too a good place for seafood and nice ambience to chill after your meal!

4. New Gaya Seafood Restaurant

A pork-free seafood restaurant, just 15 minutes drive away from Kota Kinabalu city. Known for its reasonable price, they are always full with patrons. This is the place where is it already known among the locals for good seafood! Plenty of live seafood to choose from prawns, soft shelled crabs, clams, crabs and vast varieties of fish to choose from. Having both air-conditioned or open air spaces to dine here, their signature dishes includes steamed garoupa, stew sea cucumber with fish lips, Lamb chop, baby lobster, fried butter prawns and more! 5. Suang Tain Seafood Restaurant

Another place for fantastic seafood? Yes. It got to be at SuangTain! This seafood restaurant are established in Sabah since year 1983. They are serious when it comes to seafood! A lot of fresh seafood that is placed at the aquarium so that it keeps them alive and fresh! This place is usually crowded as it can draw a lot of crowd to dine there! A wide and huge restaurant, they can cater for private functions and tours too as they can fit more than 100 pax in there! Recently they have launched a new menu of Porridge steamboat selections. It allows patrons to choose the type of steamboat they prefer and cooked them up in that porridge broth!

6. I Lotus Seafood Restaurant

Located at Kepayan Point, Kota Kinabalu, I Lotus is a halal seafood restaurant that serves delicious food! Many choices to choose from their menu, you’ll spot something special from their menu. Pumpkin soup – it requires 1 day in advance for pre-book for this dish. Uses huge pumpkin, it acts as a pot to serve your soup in it. It is special because it is actually slow cooked with great seafood ingredients like sea cucumber and more. Other signature dish includes Curry prawns in Coconut Shell, Kong Po style Geoduck, Chili crabs, Thai mango fish and more! This place surely worth your visit!

7. Welcome Seafood Restaurant

Located at Asia City, KK, this is one of the branches that they have opened at this area. Famous for shelled seafood here, do prepare your stomach for some delicious clams, oysters, crabs, cockles or Tung Feng Snails that is quite a hit there! So many cooking styles for each different dish, your tummy will be so delighted! Open aired and air-conditioned inside, no worries of sweating while you dine there! They are a halal restaurant and do have special sessions that caters for our Muslim friends!

8. Seri Bayu Seafood Restaurant

A Chinese seafood restaurant, this pork-free restaurant is located at Lintas Square in Sabah. Specialty of seasonal seafood here, Sri Lanka crab is one of them! Besides, the way of their vegetable servings are quite unique when you order Chinese Wine Hong Kong Kailan, they will thinly sliced it up and it tastes surprisingly delicious! Fish dish is a must order here as you can see them swimming lively in the tank. So many varieties to choose from pick them and decide on the cooking style that suits your craving when you dine there!
