Located at KH20 Kopitiam, this beef noodle stall is managed by the founder’s elder sister. The beef soup here is prepared using the same recipe as the old shop with beef bones, beef meats, and Chinese herbs. Many patrons like their beef soup, because it's not only rich in beef flavors, but also free from any gamey smell. Their dry beef noodles are special too, because the noodles are topped with minced beef instead of the usual minced pork.

Operated since 1956, Lai Foong is one of the oldest beef noodles stall in KL. The stall is now managed by the 3rd generation. Unlike other traditional beef noodles in Chinatown that are served dry, the beef noodles here are served in soup with lots of ingredients, including beef shank, beef tendon, beef stomach and beef ball. Preservative vegetables and fried pork lard are added to make the soup even more tasty and flavorful!

Yang Kee is probably the oldest hawker stall at the popular food street at Peel Road with over 40 years of history. Just like Ngau Kee, this stall is only open at night, and it is now run by the second generation. Many patrons come here for their old school beef noodles with a bowl of dry noodles and a bowl of beef soup. To cater to more beef lovers, they have opened another 3 branches in different locations, including Seapark, OUG, and Pandan Indah.

Another famous beef noodle stall in Chinatown with more than 60 years of history. They operate at two different places in Petaling Street. In the morning, you can find them at an old shop lot at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, just opposite Lai Foong Kopitiam. At night, they will move to the back alley of Hong Leong Bank. You can satisfy your palate here with both soup and dry beef noodles. Many would find their beef noodles to be value for money, as the noodles are served with lots of ingredients, including beef slices, beef stomach, beef balls and minced meat.

Founded in the 40s, Soong Kee is so famous that its name has become almost synonymous with beef noodles in KL. Operated by the second and third generation, the restaurant continues to churn out lip-smacking beef noodles that are served with a bowl of dry thin noodles topped with minced meet and a bowl of clear soup loaded with freshly cooked beef slices, beef balls and beef innards.

Hailed from Johor, Tangkak Beef Noodles is probably the only restaurant in KL that offers authentic Tangkak style beef noodles. Tangkak beef noodles are different from KL version, because the soup is darker in color and taste is stronger. Tucked away at a quiet neighborhood in SS2 you will find a beef noodle specialty shop named Uncle Cheng. The shop is spacious and clean, which allows guests to enjoy delicious beef noodles in a comfortable setting. Their signature dry beef noodles are unique, because the noodles are topped with salted vegetable, sesame, and peanut instead of the more commonly seen minced meat.
