Industrial areas are no longer a serious place just for machine works because certain areas in Klang Valley prove to us that there are café too! A larger place to chill, relax and nice ambience and quieter surroundings too! A new trend in the recent years, they gained support from many and now many started to sprout around the industrial areas too!

1. Grey Sky Morning @ EX8 Subang Jaya
A huge plot of industrial land here, there are 2 cafes nestled inside. Walk further in and you’ll locate Grey Sky Morning. Nice glass window panels and shining bright during the day, this cafe in Subang Jaya will be good for a cup of coffee and cake! A two-level café, pick your food & beverage and then head to the seat that you like. Well, what else? A time for some good selfie of course!
2. BEAM @ Bandar Sri Damansara
A café located exactly at the busiest industrial area in PJ, be prepared to park slightly further up when you’re here especially on weekdays. Warm and friendly, it is such a good place to enjoy your coffee here because they are the expert when it comes to coffee! Having specialty raw beans, they have their own roasting machine too. What to expect here: aromatic coffee fragrance, good brew and great cakes. Nice lighting for photo taking too!
3. Bean Brothers @ Sunway Damansara
A joint all the way from Korea, be prepared to squeal when you're here because of the barista here; oops, we mean the beverages here! This cafe operate at this industrial area in PJ that is considered quiet, perhaps it is a good place that they have selected instead of those hectic places that you might need to quarrel over for a parking space. Just at the corner, upon entering the compound - everything is just amazing. From lighting to interior design, it is worthwhile to come for a sip and to enjoy a tranquil yet serene environment!
4. Le Gardenz Cafe @ Kawasan Perindustrian Belakong
This might be the place for Transformer fans to visit in Seri Kembangan! Why is it so? Check out that huge figurine that is located inside! Apart from that, the cafe is located uphill which means you can enjoy some nice view from the top! Serves breakfast to dinner; be sure to enjoy your time here. Huge dining area, you can select the place to sit as they have a few different backdrop. Parts of the place here are too built using containers! How special is that? Visit them to have a complete view inside!
5. Jump Street Cafe @ Seksyen 13 (inside Bosch Factory)
A cafe inside a factory and a trampoline park (Malaysia's First Indoor Trampoline Park) in PJ, no entrance fees needed if you're planning to visit this cafe. Coffee here a no joke. Taste and texture are good without a doubt. Besides, they do serve some delectable food here that you can munch on after some sweating session on that trampoline! A nice view from the cafe as it is located at level 1, feed yourself right as they do offer sandwiches, juices and shakes and not to be missed - coffee that is handled perfectly by the barista.
6. PULP by Papa Palheta @ Jalan Riong, Bangsar
An independant coffee boutique from Singapore, Papa Palheta specializes in roasting and purveying specialty coffee. This cafe is located at the same plot of land with Art Printing Works in KL, just behind NSTP Balai Berita building that is orange in color. A nice warehouse concept, their interiors are mesmerizing. You'll be able to see their coffee roaster and coffee making equipment’s placed at the middle of the cafe. Menu is straightforward - coffee and cakes. Top notch coffee that worth your time here.
7. Bean Reserve @ Bangsar
A new venture from Brewmen from Solaris Mont Kiara, how good is it that they are finally here in Bangsar bringing you another level of excitement of coffee and Nitrogen tea. Located inside The Co., the cafe in KL is brightly lit on natural sunlight as the windows are transparent enough. Paying all your attention here, remember to get their Nitrogen Coffee / Tea and their signature of Soft Serve; and tons of selfie because of good lighting? Totally legit. Industrial cafe had never felt so good!
8. Garage 51 @ Bandar Sunway
This cafe in PJ that is no longer a stranger to everyone, they have recently launched something special that is brought all the way back from Australia. While struggling for a parking here are a usual norm, just get a damn space because you do not want to miss out their 'Messed up Family' series! They are the best milkshakes ever, ranging from The Mother, The Father, The Son and The Daughter - all these 4 series comes with their exquisite flavor of their own. How not to enjoy them especially for a good picture moment to show on your social media?
9. Butter-Up @ Pusat Perdagangan Seri Kembangan
A bakery and cafe in an industrial area? They are standing bold and tall among the old factories and car garage - Butter-up serves fluffy breads, coffee, hot food and tasty cakes can be eaten here or take away too. From pizzas to pastas and sandwiches, everything are freshly made and baked daily! A scorching hot and sunny day outside? No worries, get into Butter-up will do!
10. Black Market @ Kampung Pandan
A cafe in KL that is designed to look like a factory, Black Market is it. A cosy and quiet ambience, come here for fine dine, wine and celebrations. Dimly lit interior, it makes it good especially when you plan for a romantic dinner here. Food here gets nods from most patrons; do to try their Black Scallop Pasta and Choc Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. Ready to explore Black Market that's approved by everyone?
