Located at SS2 Petaling Jaya, San Hui Wei is a new restaurant specializing in delicious and spicy Chongqing Steamboat.

In this food tasting session, we were glad to have new and old members joining us. The event was kicked off with a fun and simple game to let participants get acquainted with each other.

After the fun-filled game, the restaurant’s owner, Maggie, showed us how to mix different chili sauces together. A delicious meal of steamboat is never complete without a plate of good dipping sauce!

Maggie also shared with us how the restaurant was founded. She was proud to be able to open a restaurant serving authentic Chongqing Steamboat with high-quality ingredients, because a restaurant like this is difficult to be found in PJ area.

A hotpot with a combination soup consisting of both Hot & Spicy Soup and Chinese Herbal Soup was served. The fragrant and delicious hot pot was accompanied by various fresh ingredients, including sliced meat, squid, ball, dumpling, fried beancurd, vegetable, tofu and mushroom.

We all enjoyed the freshly cooked food a lot, especially the homemade pork balls, which were freshly handmade without adding any artificial preservatives!
