Rock Salt Grill & Coffee
10 OpenRice members had a great time trying delicious and healthy Arabic food at Rock Salt Grill & Coffeelocated at Setiawangsa AEON AU2, Jaya Jusco on 12th June.
After all participants had arrived, our MC kicked off the event by introducing the objective of MakanVenture, which is to bring OpenRice members together to try the best food in town!
The restaurant’s owner also took the opportunity to share with us the concept of Rock Salt. In a nutshell, the restaurant features Arabic, Pakistani, and Western cuisine with special emphasis on healthy and less oily food.
Rock Salt is also a halal restaurant, we were glad to have quite a few Malay members joining us as well for this round.

Before the dishes were served, we played a simple game to experience the fun of writing and sharing food reviews. Three lucky members were selected to try a dish with their eyes blindfolded. After trying the food, they had to write down what they thought about the food on a white board and share it with everyone. The best reviewer won a restaurant voucher as reward!

Finally, the mouth-watering dishes were served. Highlights include Family Mix Kebab, Supra Soup, Lamb Mandi, and Pavlova! Many were amazed by the mixed kebab, which comes with 6 different types of kebab with unique flavours!

We had to give credit to the chefs from Pakistan and Arab countries for preparing all the great and tasty food for us.
After enjoying the sumptuous meal, we took a group photo in front of the shop. Hope to see you guys soon!
