Lai Ching Yuen

If it were not for this makanventure at Lai Ching Yuen, a Chinese restaurant in Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur that is famous for dim sum, many probably would not have known that this much-loved cuisine can be vegetarian-friendly, too.

Dim sum master Chef Kong wowed OpenRicers who were present through a live demonstration of dim sum making. And after which came a Q&A session and a food tasting session, whereby his delectable works of art, such as pan-fried vegetable-filled soft buns, lotus-leaf-wrapped steamed sticky rice, and deep-fried taro ring with fruit “salad,” were devoured.

On top of the yummy goodness, OpenRicers were also surprised with a lucky draw session and had fun sharing food thoughts.
