Lai Lai Casual Dining

Have you ever tried original Taiwan Beef Noodles? The good news is now you can try it in Kuala Lumpur without the hassle of flying to Taiwan!

We brought 10 lucky OpenRice members to Lai Lai Casual Dining at Kuchai Lama on 18th June to savour 6 mouth-watering Taiwanese dishes, including the restaurant’s signature Taiwan Beef Noodles!

We had a few new members as well as old members joining us this time.

Before the food tasting began, the restaurant’s chef-owner welcomed everyone with a short speech introducing the restaurant’s background.

The brief introduction was immediately followed by our popular ice-breaking game. Three members were chosen to try a food with their eyes blindfolded!

After trying the food, they were requested to write down a food review and share it with all participants. The person who shared the best review was rewarded with a restaurant voucher!

After the game, delicious Taiwanese dishes, such as Beef Noodles, Braised Pork Rice, Pork Ramen and Pepper Salt Chicken, were served. Many were impressed by the rich and original flavours of Beef Noodles.

After enjoying the food, we had a Q&A session to give away OpenRice souvenirs to members who were able to answer the questions correctly.
