chu cheung fun with char siew Smile Sep 16, 2013

Last weekend, we have decided to give this new restaurant in Kuchai Avenue a try. Most of the shop at Kuchai Avenue is still vacant but this restaurant is bustling with peoples.

Their menu is very reasonably priced. Their chu cheung fun is overloaded with char siew wrapped in really thin noodle. For Char Siew lover, you must be loving in this dish.

Overall, their dim sum is quite good and I would definately come back again.

Chicken Katsu Curry Rice Smile Sep 11, 2013

Located on the 3rd floor of The Gardens, Hokkaido Ichiba is not unknown among the Japanese-food lovers. The place is always crowded espcially during peak hours.

My favourite here is Chicken Katsu Curry Rice which cost around RM23. The curry was warm and sizzling when it arrived, very apetizing indeed. The fried chicken was a bit on the fat side but the meat was tender and sweet overall. I would recommend this.

Overall, Hokkiado Ichiba really does find a niche in this pretty saturated Japanese restaurant market. The food is pretty good, prices reasonable.

Bagna Cauda @ the red beanbag Smile Sep 11, 2013

The Red BeanBag is actually growing into one of the famous breakfast places in the city so we made full use of the last fasting weekend to pay the place a visit. lol

The Red Beanbag specialize in breakfast and brunch / lunch menus (though they've also launched a dinner menu along the way.

I love to eat Bagna Cauda in Red Beanbag. There have warm Italian sauce with beef bacon, poached eggs and greens. The portion does look kind of small but it is in fact quite filling.

meatballs Smile Sep 07, 2013

From the decorations to the furniture, items within the restaurant are furnished mainly from IKEA's own product.
If you happened to visit Ikea, definitely MUST try its Curry Puff (cost only RM1 per piece, at the cafe ground floor) and Beef Meatball at Ikea Restaurant & Cafe, First Floor.

Their meatballs, made from minced beef are the best.

Meatball made out of beef, come with fries and sauce topping. Overall this dish is yum. Worth a try if you are planning to stop by ikea !

I am highly recommended. the meatballs are perfectly accompanied with thick brown sauce. smooth n yummy! smile always long queue though.
