Rm 1.80 /pc

As compared to surrounding Kopitiams, Bagan's indoor seating arrangement is more confortable and gives a feeling that it is clean.

There are many food options here. Kueh & G Cheong Fun, Roasted Chicken and Duck, Economical Bee Hoon & Noodle, Mian Fen Guo & Yee Mian, Wanton Noodles, Kueh Tiao Kia, Fried Penang Kway Tiao & Indian Fried Noodle, You Char Kueh, Sarawak Ko Lo Mee, Yong Tau Foo Noodles, Porridge etc.

Mian Fen Guo is nice and value for money. Portion is big for Rm 4/bowl. Fish balls, Pork Balls, Vege, Ikan Bilis and the soup base is just right, not saltish. This stall also serves Yi Mee Claypot.

Parking is ample.

Place to go on a warm afternoon Smile May 15, 2013

Desserts we grow up with, before the fancy stuff now sprouting all over.

Ice Kacang with chocolate sauce, Cendol, Cikong etc.

I like Cendol while many love the Ice Kacang, especially with the chocolate sauce.

The other highlight is the tauhu bakar and rojak. Fresh peanut spread over the thick and fragrant hay kou (shrimp paste), eat it together with the crispy you char kway, heavenly!

Btw, I will avoid the Ice Jelly though, I find it less satisfying.

Parking is a challenge here, if you insist on parking in front of the stall. Many will park by the road side and walk over.

Best White Kopi  Smile May 15, 2013

This shop promotes healthy diet with the range of multi grain bread.

For me , the real attraction is the fantastic White Coffee that has a nice smell of charcoal roasted smell.

They also serve mee siam dry, nasi lemak besides the toast bread. Their egg mayo bread is also recommended.

Air-con is adequate but no Free Wi-Fi here. It has lots of regulars and on certain time, you may not be able to get a seat.

Parking is ample.

Being different can be good Smile May 15, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam

I am not old and wise enough to be able to determine and tell what is original taste of food dishes. All the claims by some that they are original and so on does not alter my personal preference in taste. Whether the food taste nice, delicious is very much the mindset built up over the years of my life.

The Penang Fried Kuey Tiao, Indonesia Fried Noodles at this stall are very agreeable to my taste. They do taste different from the many similar offerings at other stalls, but I like them.

The portion is good and value for money (in terms of ingredients used) in this area. Boss is also friendly and committed to his cooking.

Bagan Kopitiam also offers a more pleasant environment than nearby Kopitiams, a plus point.
