Masala Lamb Shank Smile May 28, 2013   (Related Review)

The party unanimously agreed to try out the Masala Lamb Shank, as it looked pretty interesting from the menu. The lamb shank came, medium sized. It was braised until very tender, and the meat falls of the bone quite easily. There was also no gamey meat smell. There were chunks of sautéed cucumber, carrots and eggplant with black pepper flakes on it. Priced at RM39.90, I thought it was a bit expensive.

Vongole Spaghetti Smile May 28, 2013   (Related Review)

My favourite type of pasta is cooked a la vongole. Hence, when I saw that Fullhouse Lifestyle Store & Café offers Vongole Spaghetti, I immediately request for an order. I specifically mentioned that I want to spaghetti done al dente, and it came perfectly. There were lots of clams in it, though some of the clam shells were also in the pasta, making it unnervingly crunchy. It was slightly spicy due to the chilli flakes in it. Priced at RM16.90, it was quite a decent price to pay.

Spicy Marinara Smile May 28, 2013   (Related Review)

Another fellow friend ordered the Spicy Marinara, as she likes spicy food. She said that the pasta was not fiery enough for her, but when I tasted it, I thought it was quite spicy. This spaghetti is done well, quite al dente. As for the ingredients, there were lots of seafood in it. There was a mussel, some prawns and some calamari. Served with some cheese powder and parsley flakes, the price of RM20.90 is quite decent.

Rosella Smile May 28, 2013   (Related Review)

One of our friends’ name is Rose, so we were teasing her when she ordered the Rosella, which is a tomato based spaghetti. The spaghetti was slightly overcooked, but it was still OK, although not as al dente as I would like it to be. There were a generous amount of prawns and mushroom as the ingredients. Priced at RM18.90, it was worth the amount paid, even if it was just for the prawns.

Hubby was looking forward to the Tony’s Teriyaki Chicken Burger. Me, just so-so as I am not a fan of teriyaki sauce. The burger came piled high, as the chicken was quite big, slathered in lots of teriyaki sauce. There were also a slice of cucumber and tomato topped with some alfalfa sprout for the greenish taste. Served with some French fries and green, the burger is actually not bad. Priced at RM17.90, it was a decent price to pay.
