Sweet and Sour Pork Rice With Egg Smile Jul 18, 2012

Sweet and sour pork rice with egg - RM7.50

The pork was being deep fried before being doused in sweet and sour sauce. It came with steam corns and some raw vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuces.

The sunny egg was perfectly made with the sweet and sour pork dish. The price was reasonable too with huge portion of pork meat. Overall this was a pretty good dish.

Like its name, we had both a sweet and sour flavour to the whole dish. I like it when the pork is cooked being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

BBQ Chicken Wings Smile Jul 18, 2012

BBQ Chicken Wings - RM4

The BBQ Chicken Wings were cooked on charcoal grill for all that extra smoky flavor. The chicken wings not only smoky but also sweet and garlicky with just the right hit of spice. The sweetness comes from honey and the kick comes from using the hottest, spiciest barbecue sauce your taste buds can handle. The price was reasonable too with RM2 per piece.

Cheap and Yummy Cendol Smile Jul 18, 2012   (Related Review)

Cendol - RM2

Last year I visited New World Park and I was surprised with the cendol price. It only cost me at RM2 per bowl. It consisted of crushed ices and cendol jelly with abundant of sweet kidney beans, served with santan (coconut milk) and brown sugar. The cendol really my thirst killer under the hot and searing sun as it was amazingly rich in taste and flavors.

The cendol itself was fresh, and soft coupled with sweet red beans and lots of ice. The santan had a milky taste to it, with added gula melaka, the dish certainly was for sweet toothed people.

Cheap and Yummy Ais Kacang Smile Jul 18, 2012

Do be surprised with the price of this bowl of yummy Ais Kacang (Malaysian Shaved Ice). It is only RM2 last year and yet delicious. The sweet-tasting shaved ice, comes with numerous of toppings such as sweet kidney red beans, creamy sweet corns. grass jelly and attap chee (palm nuts). In a hot and humid country like Malaysia, nothing beats the icy cold and pleasant dessert that soothes the throat and cools down the body.

McCafe Cappuccino Smile Jul 17, 2012   (Related Review)

Cappuccino - RM4.50 (S), RM 5.50 (R), RM6.50 (L)

Of course, coming to McCafe without having their coffee would be a total miss. I got to sample their premium 100% Arabica coffee beans grown in the hills of Central and South America while we were there. The beans are medium roasted to perfection, then freshly ground with every order to maintain their flavour and consistent quality. I liked the cute "M" shape they managed to draw on their cute Cappucino drinks as well.

The taste itself was refreshing, perfect for any wake-up call. Sweet, but not overly sweet, with sugar by the side to customize your drink. Served piping hot, taking sips of this cappuccino will definately kick off a beautiful day.
