798 Buffet  OK Apr 26, 2016

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Steamboat/Hotpot

If you are happened to find an amazing food destination in Sunway Pyramid, do yourself a favour and headed to 798 buffet.

The reason why the restaurant named themselves as 798 is that they provide 7 types of meats, 9 types of soups and 8 types of sauces. To be honest, I have never encountered a restaurants that had so many sauces. But yeah a lot of people spelled it wrongly as 789 sometimes, including myself.

Like most buffets, 798 practices the self-service culture .I have been here for countless time, but so far I only tried 2 types of soups which are Herbal soup and Spicy soup. For those who wants something to spice up your buds, go for the spicy one. One of the reason I enjoy myself so much at 798 is that diners will be provided with personal pots ,which means more hygienic.

Sometime we just have to forget about the calories girls.

Overall this restaurant is simple and the environment is nice enough for us. Definitely will come again for a heartily filling.

Jing Si OK Apr 26, 2016

Categories : Café | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

Jing Si is a non-profit and eco-friendly bookstore which you can find it hidden in the city, spreading green and planet-friendly lifestyle! They have a lot of outlets which are all very well-located. Yes I will say it’s a bookstore rather than a café/tea house. Their books are available for purchase or just read it through there.
I really love the vibe here, you can feel a very calming effect once you step into the bookstore. Their staffs are super friendly person, they serve customers as if their own families. A thumb up to their unique services.Coffee and tea are available here. Feel free to ask the staff if you are not familiar with the flower tea.

Overall, this place is very good for hang out with friends. A bookstore with the purpose of spreading love and green living.

Fatbaby OK Apr 13, 2016

Categories : Western variety | Café | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato

One hell of a hot day, I decided to drop by at Fat Baby, after it’s been opened in SS15 nearly a year. FAT BABY, the name itself through me off because it's so funny. Located at the same row as Sangkaya and Oregi, parking is not as headache as I thought. The menu will be changed weekly, and most surprisingly you are allowed to taste the ice cream before ordering!

Tadaaa! Here goes the baby everyone was raving about! I definitely went nuts over the waffle. Add on the small waffle will take you RM1. Personally I don’t think its worth. I would go for salted caramel ice cream if I knew it was their signature. But the White Choc+ passionfruit was good as well. Smooth and silky body, the sweetness was just nice for my liking. Sometime we just have to forget about the calories girls. Overall, despite a small menu, this place is great for hanging out and unwinding over desserts.
DO take note! They only open during weekends!
Opening Hours:
Fridays & Saturdays: 2pm-10pm
Sundays: 2pm-8pm

Milligram OK Apr 13, 2016

Categories : Western variety | Café | Steaks / Chops | Burgers / Sandwiches | Sweets/Snack

Located in Taman Mayang, facing Lincoln College, Milligram is one of the most promising café in the area. Milligram is just about 5 minutes walking distance from the Kelana Jaya Lrt Station. Just happened to stop by while finished a movie at Paradigm Mall. The café itself is not hard to spot as there is only one café within the neighbourhood.

Never heard of it before, but I was not disappointed after we gave it a try!
Despite being in a hidden area, a sip of coffee here would be satisfying.

Do try their After-8 Latte if you are up to coffee and mint. Recommended by the barista.

Roasted chicken with mashed potato.

Mushroom pasta
Besides that they do serve a selection of mouth-watering cakes. Missed the chance to try as we didn’t have extra cash for the desserts, and the café do not accept payment by card.
Overall, this place has potential and I would like to try some other foods on menu especially their desserts. And btw, their WIFI works fine, probably the reasons why there are so many people coming with their laptops.

Thirty8 Smile Jan 28, 2016

Conveniently located next to Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and within walking distance of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC, KLCC Park, Grand Hyatt Hotel gained much of attention due to the sky-crapping restaurant THIRTY8. The restaurant itself was quite beautiful – the open concept kitchens gives the best 360-degree view of KL city!

Thirty8 Signature Chocolate Cake. The presentation was quite impressive! Opened with a flourish, pouring over the caramel over the chocolate cake, melting the cake slowly until making a hole on top. It looked so tempting with the fog from the dry ice! Totally instgram worthy! The choco cake was rich, melted perfectly in the mouth with subtle sweetness! Sometimes we just have to forget about the calories girls!

Fancy some dessert? Straight from the oven chocolate cake, raspberry sherbet and vanilla anglaise sauce. Very rich and decadent. Definitely a delight for your taste buds!
It's a tad pricey to dine here, so be prepared.
