AMPM Cafe OK Apr 28, 2016
Categories : Western variety | Café

Just a usual Monday night, me and my partner in crime plan to kick start the night with some desserts. So we ended up relaxing ourselves in AMPM café, USJ.

I would say that this Triple Treat was the house’s new boom, judging from the price. It’s a pancake with chicken floss and crispy chicken skin topped with salted egg sauce. Now I am not sure whether it’s a dessert or a dinner to me. A very weird food combination to me I would say, I myself could never finish it on my own. And it’s a bit pricey.

If you think it’s too late to unwind yourself with some caffeine , just like my partner in crime, you can try their hot milk.

The coffee, though, was mediocre. The flat white I ordered started to form bubbles in less than a minute. And the coffee art , even I myself can make a better one than this.

Haraju Cube OK Apr 28, 2016

Categories : Japanese | Café | Desserts

Haraju-Cube, a Japanese honey toast café is a must to try if you were a fan of Japanese toasts. After it has been a trend in town a year ago, this was the third time I visited Haraju-Cube. Unlike the previous visits, this time I was here to try their new desserts. No more big toast day for me.

Frozen Panna Cotta !SWEET FUN AND DELICIOUS! Why fun? Because literally you can spin the cup LOL. Smooth, silky body, perfect sweetness for me! There are options of Passion Kiwi or Sweet Mix Berry for this.

Despite the butterscotch milk being their signature drinks, I didn’t really enjoy it. I would rather go for their free water.
On a positive note, their WIFI works very well. Hopefully they'll be introducing more desserts in future!

Le Bread Days OK Apr 28, 2016
Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Café | Coffee | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

Remember the Le Bread Days Bakery in SS2 that always lined up? Ever wonder what’s all the fuss about but too lazy to join the queue? Now you can avoid the crowd because they just opened their second branch in SS15!

My one and only fav choice is always the salted egg croissant! I always have second stomach for it no matter how full I am. There are also other croissant options such as plain, peanut butter, and cheese. Its might be a little pricey for some yes, but the portion is generous enough. On a positive note, the staff will heat it up if you are dining there so be expect to be fulfilled by hot yellowish molten egg yolk in each bite!

Glad that I try their German Cheese Egg Tart as well! Wonderful sweetness which was just my liking! They do provide free water.
The ss2 branch had received a lot of bad reviews because of the poor service, so I guessed they did some improvements here.

Warisan cafe OK Apr 28, 2016
Categories : Malaysian variety | Hotel Dining | Noodles | Nasi Lemak

Strategically located at one of the busiest mall in town, Warisan cafe caters to the travellers and commuters on the go by packaging food in neat, easy-to-carry parcels.

This was the first time I visited the place, after a quick glance at the menu, I found that Nasi Kukus Ayam Goreng Berrempah seems to be their signature dish ,but the its quite pricey. And I realized that most tables order the Mee Kuah, so I decided to give it a try.

Tadaaa here’s the Mee Kuah Ketam! The noodle itself was just amazing. It was soft like cotton and silky smooth. Very authentic taste! Totally worth a try to experience the delight.
Just sharing some good news other than foods, their wifi is super-duper good. Overall, it was an enjoyable lunch. Authentic, reasonably priced and heavenly tasting!

Yesterday  OK Apr 28, 2016
Categories : Western variety | Café | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops

It came as a pleasant surprise that another commendable café has sprouted up at the SS15 neighborhood of Subang Jaya. Yesterday Café, an English Japanese café which is situated in the ss15 courtyard, previously known as First Subang.
Like most cafes, Yesterday practices the self-service culture where patrons have to make their order & payment at the counter.

Give your day a little boost with their signature Melting moment, I forgot to ask what coffee are they actually served, but they do give choices of ice-cream though. Nothing special to shout about except its Instagram-worthy .

Some hot cappuccino to kick start the day.

Smoked duck kamoglio , be forewarned that its tastes a bit spicy.

Their egg benedict though, was more like a vegetarian alternative for me. Didn’t really enjoy that.

Overall this cafe is simple and the environment is nice enough for us. Worth going again and try other dishes.
