Yesterday  OK Apr 28, 2016

It came as a pleasant surprise that another commendable café has sprouted up at the SS15 neighborhood of Subang Jaya. Yesterday Café, an English Japanese café which is situated in the ss15 courtyard, previously known as First Subang.
Like most cafes, Yesterday practices the self-service culture where patrons have to make their order & payment at the counter.

Give your day a little boost with their signature Melting moment, I forgot to ask what coffee are they actually served, but they do give choices of ice-cream though. Nothing special to shout about except its Instagram-worthy .

Some hot cappuccino to kick start the day.

Smoked duck kamoglio , be forewarned that its tastes a bit spicy.

Their egg benedict though, was more like a vegetarian alternative for me. Didn’t really enjoy that.

Overall this cafe is simple and the environment is nice enough for us. Worth going again and try other dishes.

Tryst Smile Jan 23, 2016

Tryst, a hipster café resides in ss15 where there is less traffic and uneasy to find, appearing to be a very decent hang out with its shisha and coffee. The menu here offers a wide variety of foods, ranging from pastas, breakfast set, French toasts, pancakes etc.

Pancakes are to die for! Sweet, fluffy and packed full of flavour!

A sweetness that was just nice for my liking. The coffee art appeared decently pretty and lasted until my last sip of it! And the coffee didn’t start bubbling for a quite long time! A perfection I will say! But I do remember last time they will serve a thin cut of cookie as well.

My new fav! Tryst breakfast platter! A very big portion which is definitely enough for two .And the price is only RM13! Can you imagine that??? It’s really hard to find a decent breakfast set with this price! So I highly recommend this is a must try in Tryst!

Chicken+ Mushroom Spaghetti. Nothing much to dwell about, just an ordinary plate.
Overall, I wouldn’t say the food here is very good, but it’s totally worth the visit.

Palladium Cafe Smile Jan 20, 2016

Inspired by Jay Chou’s MV “手写的从前”, Palladium Café is now opened in Eco World Gallery@EcoSky KL. Palledium Café was first launched in Johor Bahru , just a few months later it made its first appearance in Jalan Ipoh.

The café itself is actually quite picture worthy.
If you are one of Jay Chou fans, for sure you’d have noticed the glass exterior of the café is similar from the MV. The interior of the café is rather small. There is only three tables available inside the café. Otherwise you can sit outside the café.

Like most cafes, Palladium Cafe practices the self-service culture where patrons have to make their order & payment at the counter. The café serves limited choices of cakes and an array of coffee and non-coffee beverages.

Iced Mocha is indeed a relief from the scorching sun. Sweetness was just alright, and the coffee had the perfect intensity of sweetness.

Not sure whether the café is going to station in KL permanent or temporary, what I do know is that it’s totally worth the visit!

汕头街养生汤水铺 OK Dec 30, 2015

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Desserts

It came as a pleasant surprise that another commendable café has sprouted up at Kimberly Street, Penang. Located at one of the busiest street in Penang, Dessert Old Time Delight Shop was surrounded by many hawkers’ stalls, aiming to whip up a robust appetite among budget-conscious crowd. I wouldn’t consider myself is a Tong Shui person but this one really is a well-above-above-average Tong Shui! Thanks to my Penang friends finally I got to try this!

Black Glutinous Rice dessert, a delectable desserts that will make you crave for more! It is made from Black Glutinous Rice, coconut milk and gula melaka. Simply delicious!

Red Bean, a warming and refreshing Chinese dessert made from sugar, dry tangerine peels and red beans. It's a traditional Chinese dessert, and like most, it is like a sweet soup. It can be served hot or cold.

Do not forget to miss out SeeGuo Tang when you are in Penang! A refreshing cold brew of gingko, longan, lotus seed and red bean! MUST TRY OK.
Highly recommended by my Penang friend. Food is affordable and quality, but of course, I'd recommend Penang Street Food anytime.

Salute Dining & Wine Smile Jun 29, 2016
Categories : Italian | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta

Salute Dining& Wine, strategically locating in front of Asia Café ss15, the restaurant tends to get busier in the afternoon when students from the nearby Inti and Taylor's college drop by to have lunch. Judging from the name of the restaurant, it gives a false impression that it somewhat looked rather expensive. After we actually visited a few times here, this Italian restaurant is actually more budget-like than ever. To be honest, its considered as one of the most chilling restaurant served foods with reasonable place in a student area like SS15.

Just like any other restaurant, Salute wine&dining offers lunch promotion, comes with choices of various spaghetti aglio olio seafood, beef bacon in spicy, linguine pesto with broccoli& potato etc. Every lunch promotion started at RM12.50 comes with free coke/ lemon tea.

The portion is really big, the food is so so, but judging from the price I will still say go for it.
The restaurant is quite spacious, it is suitable for larger groups of people like students or family gathering! Recommended for an economic yet romantic night out.
