devil's food cake.  Smile May 26, 2016

Snoopy waffles; Fragrant charcoal waffles topped with peanut butter ice cream, banana slices and peanut butter spread. Crispy on the outside! The epitome of a good waffle..
Devil's food cake, forget the name, this cake is heavenly. The crumb is tender, the filling and frosting luscious.

saturday brunch  Smile May 26, 2016

Had the opportunity to drop by again for Saturday brunch!  We had mains like Smashing Avocado: maple glazed beef bacon on a bed of mashed avocado, feta cheese, sourdough toast and topped with poached egg. Really love the crispy bacon pieces and the well seasoned mashed avocado.
Super Awesome Fry Up is their typical big breakfast and we had the sunny side up egg, beef sausage, beef bacon assembled with baked beans, hashbrown, sautéed mushrooms and toast.
Also had the Flounder; soy glazed flounder fish on top of mashed potato!
And to fix our sweet tooth,we had the Who Zoo Yuzu; pancakes with Yuzu sauce and the whole dish would be suitable for orange lovers.
Coffee was good as usual, a blend of two Brazilians : Pico Mirante and Ponto Alegre on the piccolo! Comforting cup of coffee for the weekend at least.

Really love the Ghetto Egg Toast and Toast Manis. The onsen egg on top was on point! (: super delicious. eggs on top of the kaya grilled toast an kicap manis drizzle!

while the Toast Manis was a thick and crunchy toast that came with the homemade pandan buttercream and gula melaka pastry cream.

Flat white was really nice.  They are currently using local roaster Artisan Coffee.

Decided to try something different since was around the corner. Love their western food selections here and portion size is huge! Went for a change and got the meatballs to go with the usual coleslaw and mash potato.  lol

somehow still love the meatballs from Ikea!

brown rice risotto. Smile May 17, 2016
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Steaks / Chops

decided to settle down here for a quick dinner on a weeknight.
service was prompt when we arrived.

the brown rice risotto was fragrant with mushroom ketchup!
didn't quite like the bun which accompanied with the lobster roll. It was a charcoal long bun and was a tad bit dry. fillings wise was alright.

the desserts was the bomb! smile love the banana treacle cake that was served with slices of banana and ice cream on the top.  texture was very special. won't really describe it was spongy.

the white chocolate cream resembled the terrarium that was topped with milk crumble, thai basil was special.  the addition of the thai basil sauce was exotic.
