I always come to Menya Musashi as someone love the chef's Samurai Ramen "whoosh whoosh" action style. And not to forget, one of the best pork ramen in town. Since I'm not in the mood (diet mood) to eat any meat, I order a vegetarian dish- Takana Gohan (salted vege a.k.a mui choi) instead. At only RM7, this is quite affordable. The rice was way too much! But I drizzled some sesame on it which is alright. The vegetable is a tad too salty if eating on its own. what I do is I pour some ramen soup into the soup to make it less salty which makes it more edible for me. Overall, it is an OK dish only.

Menya Musashi is located inside Isetan One Utama. We wanted to try this restaurant after we heard some weird sound like "whoosh whoosh" inside the restaurant. The overall environment was Japanese Samurai theme. They are so particular about this theme and this very obvious when you saw even your cutlery also incudes some images of Japanese Samurai warrior. The chef there also will perform some "Samurai Ramen Action" in front of you from time to time which is very entertaining to me.Ok, lets talk about the ramen. I ordered the Kuro Ajitama Chasu Men which is their best seller at Menya Musashi. I was not dissapointed at all because the noodle was very chewy and yet not too hard and the best is the soup which is full of gravy. Another plus point for pork lover is the generous size of the charsu which is the biggest that I have ever encountered! Thumbs up yum yum!

I went to Starbucks Coffee at Jusco Alpha Angle very early in the morning around 10.10 a.m. Surprisingly, there's no one yet and I'm their first customer! Yay, I love the peaceful surrounding of the place coupled with some nice, relaxing music playing in the background such as Norah Jones, Jason Mraz and some etc music which I never came across before I ordered the Starbucks Fresh Brewed Coffee which are not even ready yet so the Barista offered to send the coffee to my table which is ok for me. The taste of the coffee is not strong, bitter and aromatic enough for my liking. But if you choose ambience over the beverage, I think you will like it. But make sure you come in the morning which is the best time to enjoy the peace and serene of the place

I proceed to browse through some food inside the glass shelf (they haven't switch on the light inside the shelf yet so I need to be like a chinese lady and squeeze my eyes a little to browse through everything). I choose Easy Day Sandwich simply because it contains egg! Yeah, I a person who cannot live without egg in the morning. An additional plus will be the whole grain bread and some minced chicken inside.

At RM 7.50, this is consider an ok price for me according to Starbucks standard. At O'Briens it will cost approximately double the price. Talking about branding I mean. The barista heated the sandwich before they serve it to me. I love the way how the Barista care to ask me whether I need a chili sauce or ketchup as most of the Starbucks barista will just proceed to heat the sandwich and give it to you right away. I requested for chili sauce and mayonaise but since they didn't have any mayonaise, he gave me the Japanese sesame salad dressing instead. That's my favorite dressing and it never fails to make my homemade salad so finger licking good!What I do is mix both sesame salad dressing and chili sauce together and yum! It is so freaking delicious! Yeah, I'm a weird eater. But you can try it next time I'm sure it will leave a smile on your face.

在冷冰冰的地方喝咖啡是一种享受,这里的咖啡不但香而且温度也很好. 我本人喜欢喝浓浓的咖啡,所以如果太淡的话就不好喝的了.这里的环境算不错,还过得去,服务生的态度也很好,不过如果咖啡可以大杯一点的话,我会觉得喝得比较有价值.
