Salmon Fried Brown Rice Smile Feb 28, 2013

Next, we had the Salmon Fried Brown Rice where it is being served with Garlic Bread, Healthy salad and a Fruit. I loves the way they serves brown rice instead of white rice which is really thumbs up! The portion is a little bigger than normal and there are lots of mince salmon as well.

Overall, the fried rice taste really good with generous salmon inside. Will order this again on my next visit!

Keong Kee as my friend told me, is very popular with wild boar curry and some great soup.

I ordered the Wild Boar Curry. I never wild boar before and I can say that this dish is very very delicious! The meat really goes well with the curry and the texture of the meat is just the best! It wasn’t too tough and it wasn’t too soft. It was just right. The sweetness of the curry goes really well with the wild boar meat. Thumbs up! smile

Mushroom with Chicken Feet Smile Feb 22, 2013

I also ordered their Mushroom with Chicken Feet cooked with Soya Sauce. I am really impressed at how well they cooked this simple dish. It's simply WOW me! The chicken feet was full of flavour and the mushroom needless to say, it tastes amazingly good. Although this dish is a little bit sticky, but it didn’t matter to me. Fyi, The sticky texture of this dish is contributed by the gelatine in the chicken feet.

Turkey Thai Salad Smile Feb 15, 2013   (Related Review)

After some marvelous experience dining in Imperial Chakri Palace in KLCC, I’ve decided to have another dinner again here. I ordered the Turkey Thai Salad (Larb Gai Nguang) which cost RM 21 a plate. They used Turkey meat instead of chicken meat minced and chopped, beansprout and savory sauce together in this dishes. The meat was cooked with perfection and it smells really nice from the spices in it which makes it very flavourful.
I end the meal with the most popular dessert in Thailand which is the Sweet Mango Glutinous rice (Khow Neow Ma Moung) RM14. The dessert is under the chef’s recommendation list where fresh mango is served with sticky rice and salted coconut milk. The difference lies in the sticky rice which is a combination of pandan flavor and the original flavor. The dessert taste so good that I’m so tempted to order a second bowl after finish it.

Spending per head: Approximately RM21(晚餐)

Mieng Kam Smile Feb 15, 2013

Categories : Thai | Restaurant | Seafood | Private Party

Imperial Chakri Palace in KLCC is a Thai restaurant serving authentic Thai cuisine with their chef all imported from the Land of Smile. I love everything the restaurant has to offer, starting from their staff who all wear traditional Thai costume and their delicate design of the restaurant exterior. They really make the experience of dining in Imperial Chakri Palace as if we are in a Thai palace.
I started with the most traditional Thai appertizer- Mieng Kam which consist of 7 types of ingredient and kaduk leaves. What you do is take a bit of all 7 ingredient, put it on the kaduk leaves, wrap it and eat it in one bite. It’s really a mix of lots of flavor together. For those that haven’t tried it before might find it difficult to digest as not all people like it.
