Moroccan Lamb Shank  Cry Jan 31, 2013   (Related Review)

I come back Marmalade Café again to try (once again!) one of their dishes to see if we can found any food that surprise us this time.

I ordered Marmalade Cafe’s Moroccan Lamb Shank for RM26.00, which is also from their Asian Menu. This dishes includes the same Chinese fried rice, some Chinese vegetable and of course, the lamb shank. Similar with Rice Pilaf with Asian Green and Poached Salmon Fillet, it doesn’t mix well together and it is too heavy for me.

Marmalade Café is a fusion restaurant with nice ambience for you to relax while filling your stomach with some nice good food. This restaurant was recommended by one of my colleague for its nice food.

I ordered the Rice Pilaf with Asian Green and Poached Salmon Fillet at RM26.00 from their Asian Menu. It is a salmon in creamy sauce served with Chinese fried rice and some vegetable (I’m not good with remembering vegetable name) and salad.

Presentation wise, it looks very appetizing. But sadly, it just doesn’t blend really well together. The creamy sauce of the salmon and the rice just makes the meal really heavy. I couldn’t even finish the rice.

Pork Satay Cry Jan 31, 2013   (Related Review)

I’m back again to Andes for another porky moment! This time instead of ordering for the juicy pork burger wrap, we opt for the simply traditional Ande’s Pork Satay for RM 12.90.

I am really surprised when the dishes arrived as it looks really like a dry meat to me! There is no pork fat on the satay and no charcoal smell at all. I didn’t have a good feeling at all when looking at the dishes! True to what I saw, one bite explains it all! All I can say is the meat is dry and very tasteless! sad

Salty and oily  Cry Jan 28, 2013
Categories : Stall / Warung

Though the sign of this store stated that it is selling Japanese sweet corn, i am not sure nor equip with the skills set to judge whether that sweet corn really did came from Japan. Selling it in the corns in the center of the night market in Sri Rampai, which only came once a week (Monday)

The corn is serve in a cup or as it is, i opt for the corn in a cup.

The corn is quite salty and oily, with almost every bite had been so salty that i can virtually taste salt and oil only, not a good and healthy one, reduce the use of salt and butter will do mad

Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Steaks / Chops | BBQ

This is my second time to try out at this restaurant, i am of the opinion to try out their restaurant different menu and taste. I forgotten the name of the dish that i ordered this time, but it is definitely quite the same with the dish i ordered last time but of different flavor.

By the way, it took them quite a while to serve us.
Grilled Chicken

Grilled Chicken

The chicken is Scorched, quite bitter in taste when chewing it but because of the sweet sauce it had, the bitter taste go away but still there, without the sweet sauce it will be terrible taste. The onion ring is quite crunchy and taste okay, rice is cool quite the same with last try. sad
