Fried Omelette Cry May 02, 2013   (Related Review)

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

For my other vegetarian guests, they ordered the fried omelette. I tasted a small portion of the omelette and feels that the omelette was too salty for me. Perhaps the chef accidentally sprinkled too much salt in it. Anyway, the omelette was over cooked as there were some burnt parts and a bit too dry. Some onions were fried together with the omelette. It's a simple dish but sometimes the chef can overlooked simplicity.

Cendol with Red Bean OK May 30, 2013

I have not been to Genting Highland for some period of time, and when i visited this place recently, i spotted one of my favorite food outlet, the Nyonya Colors. I ordered the cendol with red bean. This is the first time i am ordering cendol with red beans, you can also opt for normal cendol without red beans. I love the added red bean in the cendol, reminds me the Penang cendol. The gula melaka was not sweet enough.

Sesame Seed Balls OK May 02, 2013   (Related Review)

Fortune Corner also sells some light refreshment such as puff pastry, fruits, dim sum, etc. We ordered the sesame seed balls to try. The sesame seed balls were priced at M3.80++ for two pieces. The sesame seed balls were quite big, and the filling inside was the red bean paste. Although the sesame seed ball was big, the red bean paste inside was very little. The sesame seed ball was a bit oily too.

Wantan Mee OK May 02, 2013   (Related Review)

Mom ordered the dry style wantan mee that comes with a bowl of soup and dumplings. Not very impressed with the taste and flavor of this dish. My mom also didn't like the taste and the texture of the noodle. Although this is a noodle specialty shop, but the noodle was the disappointment. The chicken char siew was ok. The taste was mild and slighly sweet. The dumpling was also mediocre.

Curry Laksa OK May 02, 2013

Only Mee is a noodle specialty restaurant in Genting. I must say that their price is not cheap. It is advisable to choose wisely when dining in this place in order to get the best value of your money. I picked the curry laksa as it looks promising. Well, the taste of the curry laksa was good, better than my expectations. There were chicken pieces, fish cakes, dried bean curd, french bean, beansprouts, and half an egg in it. My only complain is the taste and the texture of the noodle. Somehow, i don't like the noodle at all. Mind you, they only serve one type of noodle for all the noodle dishes.
