Asam Laksa OK May 23, 2013

Nobody will miss out this coffee shop, especially when there were people crowded around the stall outside this coffee shop to buy the famous teochew cendol. I think the coffee shop enjoys the good influx of customers. One of the stalls sells asam laksa. Although not the best in Penang, it was still fairy good. The soup is flavorful and spicy, but i feel that the fish was very little.

Cendol OK May 23, 2013

Well, this famous teochew cendol is so popular i think the stall owner has become millionaire selling cendol. No kidding, the amount of people keep waiting in line at this stall is really impressive. All these years, every time i go back to Penang, i will grab the chance to have a bowl of the cendol. But over the years, perhaps my tastebud has changed, i find the cendol not as exciting as before. Still, it is still one of the best in the country. I still love their red beans for sure.

Fried Kuey Teow Smile May 23, 2013   (Related Review)

Fried kuey teow is another penang's delicacy. The fried kuey teow from this coffee shop was not bad either, again, not the best in penang. Although there were many people ordering the char kuey teow, the food still mananged to ve served without a long wait. The char kuey teow was very fragrant and full of the hot burning fire smell. I love the kuey teow being soft yet not easily broken and the delicious garlic and sambal.
