Triple Color Tea Cry May 27, 2013   (Related Review)
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

Triple color tea is a local speciality drink that i love so much. The three color layered tea from Jojo Little Kitchen was a disappoinment. After giving the tea a good stir, i try it and instantly felt that the tea lacked flavors. Perhaps the tea need more gula melaka, i feel that the three layered tea was not sweet enough and the gula melaka was not aromatic. The lacked of flavors make the drink taste diluted.

Keropok Lekor Cry May 27, 2013   (Related Review)

One of the snacks being sold in Chawan is the keropok lekor. It is a nice experince to have keropok lekor at a cafe. However, the keropok lekor was not really the way i like it. The keropok lekor was really thick in pieces, i think it was too thick. The keropok lekor was not crispy. There were some fishy taste in the keropok lekor. The chilli sauce was also not that nice.

Kuey Teow Soup Cry May 27, 2013

Categories : Malaysian variety | Café | Noodles | Halal | Nasi Lemak

This place seems to be a favorite place for the local people in Ara Damansara to hang out. They serve many local dishes. One of them is the kuey teow soup. Personally, i think the kuey teow soup is not that nice. The soup was oily and tasted bland. There were some fish balls, beancurd skin, chicken and prawns in the dish. The kuey teow was not smooth, and the chicken strips were tough.

Asam Laksa Cry May 26, 2013   (Related Review)

During the weekdays, there is a lunch promotion for certain food on certain days. The day i visited was the Asam Laksa day. The price is lower compared to other dishes. The asam laksa was just average in taste. I feel that the soup was not thick and flavorful enough. The fish given in this dish was also little. I find that the soup tasted sourish and i do not prefer sourish asam laksa.

Curry Mee Cry May 24, 2013   (Related Review)
Categories : Malay | Kopitiam | Noodles

Curry Mee from Penang Street Kopitiam is a big disappointment. Do not expect that they serve authentic curry mee, the curry mee here is just the same as the klang valley curry mee. There is a huge difference between penang curry mee and our local klang valley curry mee. I hate it when food establishments misused the word "penang". The curry mee was just normal, with rich coconut milk and not very spicy.
