Hokkaido Cake Smile Jul 25, 2012
Categories : Bakery / Cake / Kuih

This is the famous Hokkaido Cake from RT Pastry.

There are 3 flavours for the cake: vanilla, chocolate and stawberry.
I have tried the chocolate flavour and I think it doesn't taste as nice as Vanilla flavour.

Here is the Vanilla Hokkaido Cake and I think this is the best sponge cake I have ever ate before!shocked

Unlike other sponge cake, there is some vanilla cream inside the sponge cake.
However, the cream tastes just nice, fully enriched with milk flavour yet not too greasy.
The cake itself is very soft and smooth, and very delicious.

This Hokkaido cake has to be kept inside refrigerator.
Even taken out from the fridge, the cake still tastes very soft and nice.

One box contains six pieces of cake, and the price per box is around RM16+.

There are also many other cakes available in the shop, but I have not yet tried the others before.

Sushi Tei OK Jul 25, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Seafood | Ramen/Udon/Soba | Private Party

The environment of this restaurant is quite cozy and comfortable.
We went during a weekend, and it is not crowded, the staff here provided a good and efficient service.

The tea here is refillable.

We have ordered some plates of sushi.

(Sry, I don't know the name for this sushi?sad)
I like to eat this sushi and I used to order it everytime i dine in a Japanese restaurant.
It tastes not bad here.

This is the Tuna Sushi Roll and it tastes normal.

This is the Fried Salmon and it tastes quite nice, yet not oily.
The sauce tastes special and nice.
However, I think they fried the frozen salmon so I can't taste any freshness of it.

This is the Fried Potato, and it tastes quite similar as the Fried Salmon.
In fact, they look similar too mad
It tastes not bad as well.

Overall, I think the food taste not bad, service is good, and the price is acceptable.

De pastry chef OK Jul 25, 2012

The upper slice is the Chocolate cake, while lower slice is Coffee cake.
The Chocolate cake tastes very nice, not too sweet, and very smooth yet not too creamy.

However, the Coffee cake tastes not that nice.

There are many types of cakes and tarts available in the shop, and the price is reasonable too.
A small piece of cake as shown in the photo above costs around RM7 per piece.

Dessert @ Kepong OK Jul 16, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles | Desserts

Kei Tak Sek is a famous dessert stall in kepong.
They serve a varieties of dessert, and also some snack.
During the afternoon, they sell dimsum too.

We have ordered some of the desserts, include Kiwi Ice, Tang Yuan, Red Bean Ice, Mango Ice, Honey Dew Ice and Red Bean Paste.

I like their Tang Yuan because there is fillings inside. There are 2 types of fillings, which are Red Bean and Peanut.

Their dessert ice series look yummy, and taste not bad too. Furthermore, the portion is big.

However, I personally do not prefer their Red Bean Paste because there is orange peel in it and so it tastes a bit weird.

Normally there are many customers here either afternoon or night. In addition, they close quite early, around 10 something perhaps.

Yam Cha @ Fun OK Cry Jul 14, 2012

The environment of this cafe is really nice, the decoration of the cafe is kind of "old school" style.
Furthermore, I think it is very suitable place for photoshooting.

However, I personally do not like the drink here. The taste is not that nice sad

This is their Lemon Snow Ice, Lemonade drink and the Red Bean Ice.

Both the drink and the ice taste very "chemical" lol, if you know what I meanlol
Furthermore, the price of the drinks and dessert is quite expensive, around RM10 for each, which i think is not worthy.
