The pork knuckle was deeply fried, it was very very crunchy and crispy skin. The pork meat inner side so so so soft, smooth, tender and juicy. The fatty layer below the skin is not oily at all. A superb claypot beancurd cooked along with loads of very fresh seafoods. The beancurd was fried first and then cooked along with the thick and starchy brown sauce with mushrooms, carrots, prawns, fishes, onions and many more mixed well. The taste of the sauce was almost like the shark fin soup taste. Slurp!

The kangkuung was fresh. The kangkung was stir fried with the belacan sauce. The belacan tasted a bit spicy, sourish and salty. The kangkung was chewy and soft. This dish is best to consume along some plain rice.

Nicely named drink. This drink was cold and refreshing. The chocolate milk shake blended nicely tasted so creamy and milky and rich in chocolate aroma. The cream was not oily and yet it was creamy rich in milk taste. A pretty sweet cold and nice drink.

Mama Kitchen is a restaurant located inside Sooka Food Court in Brickfields. This is a restaurant servings a wide variety of chinese cuisines. Baby Kailan
Stir fried baby kailan along with some chinese wine (Siew Heng Zao) and also Yu Lou. Garlics and onions slices are also included inside. The bay kailan was not soft but they were crunchy. I had always prefered kailan taste in soft texture but this dish was really delicious too. As the sauce was really thick sticking on the surface of the kailan making it to be juicy vegetables.
