Another visit again to Is cream which is located at the Tropicana City Mall. The new outlet of ice cream which is just behind Hang Ten. The shop had been my favorite spot for me to have my high graded ice cream with fair price. But this time, I won 3 scopes of ice creams from the outlet itself in their Facebook contest. As so, I went there to redeem my ice cream for the day.As usual, the ice cream is as great and nice as everytime I had. This round, we had choose 3 types of ice creams.
1. Gomma Indulgence- The icecream which is sesame based and you can taste the fragrant of the sesame

2. Mocha De Heledo- is my usual favorite with is coffee with almond.

3. Nutilla – a combination of 3 taste which is Vanilla , chips and hazelnut.

Overall the icecream is simply nice and yummy. An affordable ice cream with great taste.

Steamboat time OK Oct 05, 2013

Ho Ho steamboat is one of the restaurant which is famous for its Pulau Ketam style steamboat where it is believed that they offer a large variety of fresh items in their ingridients. The restaurant is believed that they have been operated well over for two decades,Sharing the same building with the famous Ipoh Yong Tau Foo which is operated in the morning, Ho Ho steamboat will be operated on the evening. The restaurant is being converted from a former bunglow and they do have ample parking space. Ingridients for the set is not much to shout about. Ingridients are simply nearly the same as many steamboat restaurant where you will have the usual fish balls, vegetables, squids, prawns, taufu and more. It is usally being accompanied with a bowl of yee mee or bihun with 2 eggs.

There are also choices of soup where you can choose either tomyam or clear soup or even ying yong. I would prefer to order ying yong usually as you can grab the taste of both flavours. The tomyam soup is pretty sour as well as spicy. I prefer the clear soup comparable where the soup has the lovely scent of flavours which is perfectly lovely. The sambal supplied by Hoho steamboat is rather potent and fragrant with the spiciness in it. Just perfect!

Overall the steamboat is not too bad and very full for both of us

Hot & Roll had been mushrooming around the town and we spotted one of the outlet in 1 Utama. The outlet is simply well located and there is kinda a line of customer queeing up to buy the delights. The bread can be served with paratha or savory and crispy. The portion is really a big one and it is simply worth for money having to dine the simple cheap meal. We had choosed the crispy one. We ordered the Chicken and Cheese which is simply good and flavorful as well. The chicken and cheese is comes with a generous portion of cheese which comes together with it.

Price: RM 4.90

IPPUDO was founded in 1985 in Japan’s ramen capital of Hakata by Shigemi Kawahara, the internationally renowned Ramen King and CEO of Chikaranomoto Company, which encompasses some of Japan’s finest restaurants. I had the spicy base ramen which is the Karaka-Men where the Ippudo’s original tonitsu brooth os being added with the special spicy miso and ground pork. With the spicy soup served with the silky noodles, it is indeed a umpph. It is recommended to pair with Hinode wine with this

When I heard there is Hainanese Chicken Rice in Kepong, I was pretty happy to hear about that perhaps will be another place for our family meals. The new chicken rice outlet had settled down in Kepong around half a year ago located just beside AEON Kepong, the same row as the KFC and Pizza Hut. Clean restaurant with the CCTV recordings from numerous angles of the shop was something I spotted when I entered the shop itself. The shop offered an extensive range of food which include the Curry Noodles, Chicken Rice, Siew Yok and even more.

For chicken lovers, you can try their Roasted Chicken Rice which was perfectly done with the fragrant oily rice and the chicken was well cooked with the tender meat. Served together with the soy sauce as well as a bowl of soup and the spicy chilly sauce with the grinded garlic together with it.The chicken rice was perfectly something which worth to try off at the outlet itself.
Price: RM 5.50

Roasted pork was another signatures in Hainan Lien Yee too. Crispy texture of the outer skin and the fat meat at the inner of the pork is not really my favorite. The pork is slightly too fat at some parts and perhaps if they have not too fat pork, it would be my favorite though. According to their owner, The Roasted Pork which is being served does not contain any preservative items in it as well.
Price: Regular RM 8.00 / Large RM 16.00
