I was so hungry and busy that I just ate anywhere. When I saw the word "Laksa" on the signboard, I could not resist myself and went there. I saw every table ordering laksa so I did that too. The laksa had a hefty price for a roadside laksa at RM 6.50! The portion was so big I could barely finish it. The taste was weird and not like any laksa I have tasted. Not to say I am fussy because I am a Penangite but even my friend, a KL-ite hated it so much he could barely eat another spoonful. I guess I would just say it is just ok.The Wantan Sui Kow was not bad in fact I liked the taste and crunchiness from it. The curry rice was not that great. continue reading

Kedai Makanan Ah Loy is well known for their 'curry mee'. They have been operating business for 40 over years, started with a roadside food stall at Taman OUG. Ah Loy actually is the second generation running the business. This restaurant has been featured in local major newspapers and magazines as well.Enjoyed a bowl of delicious Chicken Curry Laksa served with cockles, pork skins and tofu pok. Choice of noodle was kuey teow. The chicken parts served are quite big pieces. I love the flavorful thick and heavy curry gravy with coconut milk aroma. So irresistible that I will finish till the last drop. Yummy! continue reading
