Instead of thai dishes and rice, one can actually opt for their ala carte which is only served during lunch time. On average, the ala carte costs about less than RM 20 per servings. But mostly it consists of a variety of noodles, from seafood noodles, thai spicy noodles with pork and a few more other choices. As for rice, they have only two options which is the stewed pork leg with rice and the green curry chicken with rice.

This time around I had the green curry chicken with rice. The portion is just nice, not too small nor too big either. Taste wise, it was a bit bland though, compared to the green curry chicken we had in Absolute Thai. The curry is not spicy at all, and the gravy was rather watery. The chicken meats were tender but nothing great to shout about.

And of course we had their signature house drinks in a jug (RM 18). As usual, it is refreshing with the crushed mint leaves and pandan water. Nevertheless, we still enjoy our meal here as always.

As usual we had their house drinks which never fails to quench our thirst. The perfect blend of pandan leaves, lemongrass, lime and mint leaves. Awesomely refreshing. Highly recommended.

This time around we brought along with us our university mate who came all the way from London. Being a big fan of Thai Street Food myself, I recommended the Mu Bhing or Grilled Pork Skewers and it hit the spot instantly. Juicy and well marinated paired with their in-house dipping sauce, it was a perfect starter for the meal.

And of course, the food not to be missed. We ordered the Pandan Chicken served with Thai sweet chilli sauce, Tom Yam Seafood and stir fried kangkung with garlic.

All in all, we had a scrumptious meal. The bill came up to less than RM100 for the three of us. Worth every penny of it.

What I personally liked most about the restaurant, besides the good food obviously was the cosy and heart-warming interior. Surrounded by a quiet neighbourhood it was indeed a great place to just chill and catch up with your loved ones.

Just another tip though, best to make a reservation as it’s always crowded and full especially on weekends.

im spicy is good to have their pork range of food . the thai stewed pork leg price at RM 25 was something that I choose for my dinner and upon ordering. It comes with an egg that’s about a 3/4 way cooked, some salted vegetable, and fatty pork leg that is palatable and the taste is really delicious. very special thai cuisines here and the pork leg is very succulent. service is good too

One of the most simple dish in the world, I would say is fried egg. But when things look simple from outside, it can be complicated inside. This fried egg looked like a normal fried egg only. But then when you eat it, you will eat some minced pork in it. The egg is fried till outside dry but then the inside of the egg still remain some moisture. The moisture keep the egg for being soft. It taste sweet.

Craving for minced pork? You should come over here and try their this minced pork. The pork is fried with some onion. The dish is very small and presentation is very simple. What make this dish special is actually the taste of the pork. This pork is very sweet. The texture is quite dry. But then their white rice here consider as the moisture type. You don't need to worry your throat become too dry after you eat it. You can dip it with their special chilli for better taste.

This is the most sexy restaurant name I’ve ever heard- I’m Spicy Thai Restaurant located in Seksyen 17 serves some really “Spicy” Thai food. I started off with the Pomelo Salad which cost RM25 per plate. Pomelo salad is a pomelo tossed in tamarind sauce, green apple, fried squids and carrots. It’s a very colourful combination and the taste is very good too! Thumbs up!

I ordered the Thai stewed pork leg which cost RM 25 per plate. Boy I was not disappointed. The Thai Stewed Pork Leg comes with ¾ half cooked egg, some saled vegetable and the fatty pork leg that looked. It cooked to perfection that the meat is easily falls off from the bone when you tear it apart. The taste of the stewed was really nice to take together with the salted vegetable and some hot rice. Yum!

For the dessert at I’m Spicy, I had my favourite red ruby and mango glutinous rice. The red ruby is really nice and crunchy. The coconut milk is nice with the right sweetness. The glutinous rice is soft and sweet enough to compliment well with the mango. Due to the big portion of the mango glutinous rice, it is best if you can share with 2 or 3 of your friends. Definitely making me miss Bangkok when dining here.

Set Lunch: Thai-Style Belacan Fried Rice (RM12.00++/serving) It's actually rice stir-fried with belacan & served with an assortment of ingredients as sides. My colleague regretted ordering this. It didn't taste much like a belacan fried rice & she claims that it tastes/smells weird (not the fragrant belacan kinda smell & taste). She ate half & could not force herself to finish up the dish. Set Lunch: Stir-Fried Basil Pork with Rice (RM12.00++/serving) The minced pork was too salty (perhaps the chef is having a bad day?) & lack "punch"/"umph". It was a little too wet as well. Although it was "spicy-meter-2", the level of spiciness was almost non-existent....oh, such a far difference from Surisit's! And this costs RM5 more than Surisit's too!! Portion is pretty much the same though Pork tom yam soup with egg noodles. My colleague ordered his dish with "spicy-meter-4", supposedly VERY spicy, but it wasn't that spicy at all! Either the waiter got it wrong or the chef got it wrong, or there's something wrong with the "spicy-meter"? Even the "dai chow's" sambal belacan is more spicy *eek* Here's what came to my mind when I first tasted the noodles & soup - pork noodles with red chillies & lime juice! Ok, not a very good 1st impression...isn't this supposed to be "pork tom yam with noodles"? Was our expectation off the galaxy, did we have the wrong expectation or this dish just came out wrong? Huh? I'm lost...I really expected something more. I thought the stewed pork leg would come in a small bowl with the rice & vegetables on the plate...but everything's on the plate like "mixed rice"/"chap fann". When I asked my colleague how's his rice dish, he looked at me with an uninterested face & say "Ok-lor...". Hmm...was this day just a bad day?

I've been craving for the mango sticky rice ever since my last visit, so I decided to visit this restaurant again with the bf for dinner. About 10 pork balls were served and they were topped with fried garlic, pork lards and olive oil. Smelled very good and of course tasted delicious as well. The meat was juicy and tender but somehow lacked the "bouncy" texture. See that chili sauce that was served along with the pork balls? Best to dip the balls into the sauce before eating because it did affect the taste

This is the tofu soup. Minced pork and tofu slices in chicken soup. Nothing extraordinary about this soup; taste was rather mild as I couldn't tell if it was chicken soup or not. However, ingredients were quite a lot in the soup. Can be ordered if you do not want to have tom yum soup.

As for dessert, you must try their Mango with sticky rice. This is damn good. Even my bf who doesn't like sticky rice ate this more than I did. The mango rice is served warm, and for some unknown reasons I could eat this continuously without feeling "jelak".

Worth every single cent I spent.

Deep Fried Pork Ribs
The owner claimed that this is their specialty course and I say indeed it is. This ribs is similar like the grilled spiced pork, just that this has mouthful taste and it is served with Thai dipping sauce too.

The only downside is the portion here is quite small. So one plate might just bring your appetite up but not enough to fulfill your stomach

STILL IT IS REAL DELICIOUS
