Salmon Misoyaki is something not to be missed in Ippudo.. The salmon misoyaki is simply well made with the fresh Norwegian salmon. Curry Cheese Haru Maki does gives a great taste with the hint of spiciness with it. The deep curry cheese Haru Maki is being well deep fried and this is one of the must try item in Ippudo. The hint of a light taste of the Indian Style Curry with the savory sauce is amazingly good and it is well paired with the Umeshu Limonatta ( The classic Japanese Plum wine blended with a zest from the sparkling lemon juice)

Ishiyaki Chicken is one of my favourites with the tenderize chicken where the chicken is well grilled with leek in the hot stone bowl which is served with wasabi dressing and lemon citrus. The ishiyaki chicken gives a great blend of taste and it is well served with the Hinode ( Fruity and flavourful crafted with an after taste of citrus) as well as Oolong Hai (Humbling earthy oolong tea with a touch of shochu)

Apart from the great ramen, there is also the sumptuous pork belly. You can either get it with the ramen or order it ala carte which is served with a steamed bun and a slice of lettuce. I find that the pork belly served with the ramen would soak up the essence of the soup making it harder to taste the texture of the pork belly. The pork belly cha shu is salty and tender when you bite into it.

One of the newest ramen restaurants in town and I have been in here several times already. The staffs here were friendly and accommodating which makes me feel welcomed. They acted professionally and welcomed every customer warmly. One of the dishes that I will order is the fried dumpling. It has a golden brown skin which is very crispy and when you bite into it, the juice in the dumpling will overflow.

The newest ramen restaurant to invade Malaysian palates is this world famous restaurant which comes from Japan. It was very packed during the first week I went there and I waited in line for quite some time before I stepped into the restaurant. My bowl of ramen came in less than fifteen minutes even though there was a large crowd seated. The soup stock was good and I finished everything in the bowl leaving it spotless.

The original Ramen noodles at Ippudo, I ordered this dish and their renowned Tonkotsu Broth which boiled with pork bones for longer hours makes it taste so good.uses thin noodles and i like the soup. also recommend the Hakata-Style Soup Gyoza price at RM15 which the Gyoza is the Japanese Style of dumplings with thick broth with some ginger and vegetables.

The Pork Bun is the steamed bun with braised pork, lettuce,Japanese Mayo, and Ippudo's original sauce.The steamed bun is soft and fluffy together with the pork slice was so tender and sauce together the taste was good and juicy.Crispy corn is lightly battered deep fried corn topped with seaweed and paprika seasoning.The young corn was very crispy ,wont greasy and have some smoky flavoured on it.

其实我们也没什么吃拉面,所以也没有什么研究。看到这个Akamaru Shinaji是厨师推介就选了这个。里面的汤头也是由猪骨熬煮出来的,味道很鲜美,另外还加上了特制的miso酱里面还有很香的蒜头味道呢。

The red hue of the broth is tantalising indeed. Upon the first sip, the broth is rich and creamy, with a great mouth feel thanks to the little bits of pork fat (you can definitely see it in the picture), and also bits of ground pork. It’s very aromatic and not too salty, though it can get a little cloying towards the end for some. The spicy note is definitely there but not too strong. You can choose to have your noodles al dente or softer, and we all went for al dente, of course. I enjoyed the noodles, they were cooked perfectly and thus very addictive.

There is also the option to add some crushed raw garlic for that extra pungency, but most of us did without.

The next 2 component were a little disappointing though. For the egg was hardly flavoured (I suspect it’s not as the white remained completely white), even though the yolk was still perfectly runny. The Pork Belly was not as tender as I expect and lacks in taste compares to the broth. Still it was pleasant enough to eat.

The Shiromaru Special is the classic Hakata-style Ramen. I had a sip of the broth and it was great without the spice too. The taste of seaweed is more prominent here.

So was the bowl of noodles worth the price tag? You be the judge. Because when it comes to Ramen, we all have our preferences and this might turn out to be perfect for you.

Ippudo, 最近大热的拉面专买店。可笑的是我来这儿吃冷盘。。。 (:但我有尝尝友人点的拉面。辣口味的汤头比较合我口味。回到我点的冷盘。芥末和美奶脂调配得很好。有呛鼻的感觉,但不会很强。虾子,鳄梨,就算是摆盘的用料都很新鲜,加上盘子也特别冷冻过, 证明厨师很讲究细节。不过以这娇小的份量和这昂贵的价位,我宁愿去高级餐厅吃。
