Located just outside of the casino, it is quite easy for us to locate the restaurant, it is open till very late, somewhere near midnight, given that the casino is just nearby I am sure many gambler will find it good to have the restaurant so near. Service is quite okay, we are being led to our seat and explain the latest promotions. We ordered the quarter chicken with 3 sidelines, spreading across with coleslaw, mashed potato, baked bean, potato salad, fruit alas and finally Mac & cheese. Not much decoration beside the standard one which is traditionally in any of their stores, table arrangement is an issue though because some seating is arranged too close to the next one making it quite uncomfortable to sit.
Food is delivered to us at a slow pace, someone arrived later than us already got the food while we are still waiting. The chicken texture is very poor, I had a hard time chewing on it, seriously thinking did the owner taste it before even selling to us. The sauce of the chicken is almost tasteless both for original and black pepper, for side dishes is not too bad but for mash potato it is tasteless too, the rest of the side dishes is quite fresh (vegetable base) for baked bean, quite okay but not enough tomato taste, finally Mac & cheese got a bit of cheese taste and that's about it. As I am cutting through the chicken, saw some blood on the chicken I suspect the chicken is not fully cooked yet.
For muffins, we did not specify which one we want and the staff already choose for us, serving one vanilla and banana muffin to us. Aren't they suppose to ask us instead of deciding for us ??? Anyhow the muffin taste is quite okay, one of the signature dish beside their chicken, in this experience the chicken did badly.
